And yeah, car is dirty again. Had her parked outside for a few days while I refinished a dresser in our garage. Too lazy to clean the whole window this morning when I wanted to put this on, so just cleaned that area. Rain later this week, so I’ll probably wash her up again next weekend.

I might also consider reupping on yard work if I ever moved back to the midwest just for the exercise but doing yardwork in this burg from May through October is a hard no dawg. We lost our cleaning lady 3 years ago and haven't replaced her and I have a "yard guy" 6 weeks a year in the late fall as I HATE raking leaves. Frankly, I'm just getting more satisfaction out of my multi-year landscaping/firepit/patio project than washing a car whos magical bloo paint still looks good from 10 feet away.

I'm currently in the midst of 3 time-suck projects plus we're getting ready to host Easter in a couple weeks, then we're traveling in June and some time this summer I have a bunch of exterior painting to do, just in time for the 17 year cicadas to stop buy for their trillion man sex fest. Then probably traveling again in late summer/early fall. Somewhere in there I want to wash the cars. Maybe I even will.

I am pretty on top of interior cleaning, exterior washing, while ideal, I just don't always make time for. I dedicate a ton of time to bike shit/fitness, work (obviously), so outside of that I do a lot of house/yard shit, hanging out with the wife. My dad is very ill/dying so I dedicate a lot of time to helping my parents and trying to spend time with them. I am just somewhat about washing my car relative to other things, but I care too much to take it through the scratch tube/auto wash, so one wash every 1-2 months is it.

I just roll through the drive through with free vacuums every couple of weeks and do a deeper clean maybe quarterly.
