Turn Signals Optional: Gberg’s M3
He offers tint only as an add-on for ppf installs but couldn't get to mine because he was "too busy". So I took it to my usual tint place which I'm glad I did.
And it turns out they do ppf now too. I think a lot of shops are getting on the ppf bandwagon and just slapping the stuff on to make a quick buck. Who knows if any of these places do the proper prep work to the paint prior to install.

Germany already made those mandatory since 2017, disgust. My neck of the woods wanted to sell electric and plug in hybrids starting 2035.golftdibrad1 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 4:55 pmfuck that. Is the fucking government going to come replace my starter?

And I thought i was bitching about my battery took shit after 2 years of ownershit. Funny thing is, while the 1.5t did come with auto start stop, my 2.0t did not. But still.D Griff wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2024 5:50 pmMy 328i had it. I actually think it was less annoying than in an auto because like you said, as soon as you pushed the clutch, it would start. This means you're ready to go by the time you're in gear and bringing the clutch back out. It also wouldn't turn off if you had the clutch depressed, so it would only turn off if sitting at a light or something in neutral versus say sitting at a stop sign waiting to make a left (where I tend to keep the clutch depressed some I'm ready when there's an opening).
That said, fuck that feature. Ever since dealing with two batteries in my , one of which was a pain to change, only lasting three years... nah. It's dumb and extra batteries in the landfill are far worse than the tablespoon of gas used each year that start/stop might potentially save.

Cupmageddon update. This is a vente starbucks. The lid is making contact with the lower dashboard and my hand hits the cup in first gear. There’s very little clearance between first and the cup. This is probably the biggest cup you could fit but if you notice from the side view, any smaller ones may make contact with the lid that covers the cup holder.
Was in kind of a rush to get to the and it’s very cloudy so I’ll get the dust pics when I get home.

Bruh, ditch the cups in the Beamer! They clearly don’t want you drinking in that thing! Just convert that space to something else!Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2024 9:17 am Cupmageddon update. This is not “dust” this is sloppy work. But oh well. It is what it is. I don’t think you’ll get better work out of this guy. He will fix one thing and fuck up another like he did 3 times in a row now.

Stahp the bedazzzling breh
The rest of the car looks good . I don’t see anything like that on the painted panels. We’ll see how long the roof holds up. He said the ppf doesn't typically stick as well to the clear coat used on carbon fiber panels which is why I had to have it redone. Probably but whatever. He also said he had to pop the roof channels off to get the film all the way down the side that way it doesn’t peel up again.
Another pic just because it looks so much better without the whorange markers.
