S bux in a brand new nearly collectible bmw
Turn Signals Optional: Gberg’s M3
I thought about this but it's more of a height thing so I don't think it'll work. The console with the volume knob and defrosters juts out above the cupholder preventing taller items from fitting.
Hell, I even got a medium iced coffee the other day and the lid is touching the console. Makes for a proposition every time I take it out.

BMW has some tough placement on the cup holders. The 3 I bought from D Griff can’t hold my coffee mug! It’s not that big. Especially compared the the gallon knockoff Stanley my wife has.
I just don’t ever drink in that car now. I literally put the. Up holder cover up there and that’s where my pens are shit are

It pisses me off. Like how hard is it to fill the damn thing up.
It's crazy how they can barely fit a medium drink in them. I think the shifter may even hit the bigger drinks in 3rd or 5th. I know for sure my hand hits them because as soon as it happened I told her to take the drink out and hold it the rest of the way.
I'll have to buy some chinesium cupholder on amazon that wedges between the seat and the center console for longer drives.

You’re coming up with solutions, while I just assumed to have no drinks like I’m driving 40 years ago….

And yet somehow your mother and father did not spontaneously combust despite not having a Stanley cup full of properly inonized water.J-Ho-Fo-Show69 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2024 2:31 pmMy knuckles hit any drink going into 1st and 3rd!Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2024 12:25 pm

I even went back and looked at a straightpipes m3 video. The small cup they used looks yuuuuuge in the cup holder.J-Ho-Fo-Show69 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2024 2:31 pmMy knuckles hit any drink going into 1st and 3rd!Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2024 12:25 pm

Even the cupholders in the door pocket are small AND tilted inward. Nothing like a big starbucks cup looking like it's about to tip over into the passenger footwell. I was all

Germany, a country where you don't drink and drive, apparently.

Pushed off my roof ppf replacement to next week because of the weather. Here’s the bubbles I’ve found.
New tire arrived at the . Going Saturday morning to get it mounted but because it’s not the bmw approved tire there’s paperwork to go through. I asked if there was a bmw approved all season for this car and of course he doesn’t know. I’m assuming there isn’t and if there was it’d be the Michelin AS4 but I’ve never seen one on tire rack with the bmw star spec.

Not a bad idea but it’s peeling up from the sides too. He’s going to redo the roof and touch up some parts where the film wraps around the panel. There’s a small little dot on the edge of the hood I can see while driving. Not a big but he’ll fix whatever else he sees.
The plan is to drop it in the morning and pick it up the next night so it fully cures in his shop for a day and a half.
:thankyou:
And how/why are cups some kind of dumb over priced status symbol? Everyone talked about how bad the F30 cup holders were but I really had no issues.

You also drove that thing while you’re in sales with absolutely no voice or tone command for your phone……
Sounds like you just put up with a lot of inconveniences because you like the car…. I happen to be doing the same.

I do not think you are entitled to big cupholders in your near 500 hp executive missile, but I will ask........do the automatic guys get cupholders?

I assume their proper place is holding a gallon of coffee in a full size truck with full size cupholders, yes? I haven't seen people actually toting them around until this frankly brilliant marketing scheme was hatched by the Stanley guys (or most likely gals).
They look to be the same size but it's obviously less of an issue because they're not changing gears.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2024 11:18 am I do not think you are entitled to big cupholders in your near 500 hp executive missile, but I will ask........do the automatic guys get cupholders?
Here's pictures from a thread I found talking about the perfect travel mug because the cupholders suck. Notice the flat wireless charge pad in the back.

Got it. Man this situ is almost like being in Somalia with no food or water and surrounded by AK-47 wielding pirates. Much suffering, very 3rd world, wow.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2024 12:20 pmThey look to be the same size but it's obviously less of an issue because they're not changing gears.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Thu Jan 18, 2024 11:18 am I do not think you are entitled to big cupholders in your near 500 hp executive missile, but I will ask........do the automatic guys get cupholders?
