On a train headed for port.

Picking up my fixed ram from the VW diller tonight. Snapping a pic of all 4 and finally submitting to C&B.

It makes sense. They still make money and conclude the sale. As opposed to just let it go to waste where the transaction doesn’t happen.
Also keeps their completed sale rate higher which helps strengthen the brand.

Less than a week. They’re going to review my info and photos, then assign an auction specialist who writes the ad. They’ll likely be contacting me tomorrow.

Yeah, 7 days. It says less than a week for me to receive a final draft for approval and then they’ll schedule it. Maybe it’ll go up sometime in the middle of next week.

Hopefully there’s interest out there. A pretty clean Focus RS with similar mods and mileage was only bid to around $31k the other day. :yikes:

Market is soft… but it’s only going softer from here. So the sooner the better imo. To recover the most $$$$

I also checked past results and there hasn't been a stock-ish Gorf listed since news broke about the death of :manuel:

Hopefully that helps.

Auction has been approved and is being scheduled. :sweaty:

BMW has arrived at port. I'll call the genius line in a bit to see if it's been scheduled for a ship yet.

Hopefully it doesn't sit waiting for a ship for too long.

Also, the C&B auction is using a picture I took as the primary photo instead of one I spent $300 on with a "pro" photog.

Genius said it actually arrived at port on 11/3 but they don't have any carrier info yet. They said I should call back tomorrow.

There are 3 ships currently docked at bremerhaven but their routes haven't updated yet. :notsure: if they're going to be heading to 'murica or not.

What is up with this

Power comes from a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-4, rated at 288 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and Volkswagen's 4Motion permanent all-wheel drive system.

Thanks. Another comment mentioned the warranty which I can't believe I forgot to mention. I'm going to have them add it too. Should be good through March 2026 as I bought the car in March 2020.
