Yeah. That. And with interest rates where they are it means no replacement for quite some time. I wouldn't be able to justify a 6%+ rate on a car I don't need. Or even one I do need, for that matter.
The nice ones are still shockingly expensive, figure $20k OTD for a decent 2013 Club. Our budget will free up quite a bit when my son goes off to kindergarten in a year, then even more when the twins are in kindergarten a year after that. I could probably survive until then, but I have career change plans in mind and we'll probably need to be able to reduce monthly expenses to make that happen.
No brembros and recarbros but it's a club with no accidents.coogles wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2023 2:03 pmThe nice ones are still shockingly expensive, figure $20k OTD for a decent 2013 Club. Subaru VIP pricing. It's like their supplier pricing program, usually it's a percent or two under invoice. I pay $25/year to join Leave No Trace (a save the outdoors non profit) and that gives me access to VIP pricing.
That's a solid 5/7MrH42 wrote: ↑Thu Jun 29, 2023 3:29 pmSubaru VIP pricing. It's like their supplier pricing program, usually it's a percent or two under invoice. I pay $25/year to join Leave No Trace (a save the outdoors non profit) and that gives me access to VIP pricing.
For the BRZ:
Limited w/ 6-speed
- Homelink mirror
- interior scuff panels
- Footwell lighting
Total MSRP: $32,841 w/ destination
VIP discount: -$1,776
Net: $31,065
Doc, title, temp tag: $270
Tax; $2,337
Total: $33,672
Pretty killer deal. Even a miata is quite a bit more expensive.
