Supra manual is the way over the Z4. I do miss the removable top a little though. The GR86 is very cocoon like, I’m surprised it never gets called out in reviews when the Camaro is continually blasted for that.
Because one is supposed to be a super light as tiny as possible sports car and the other is a giant 4K lb muscle car the expectations are different
Perhaps so, but it's very cave like in the thing, the windows are all very short. It's not the end of the world, but it's odd to me that not a single review mentions it that I've seen (and I watched most before buying the car without ever driving or sitting in one).

Camaro right? It was not an enjoyable drive for me, and it was a basic bast model. Car actually drives good , the lack of space and claustrophobic feel is what gotten to me.

I think we collectively bitched about it for 5+ years ?
It was an issue with the last gen as well
I'm sure the fancy diff is cool, but honestly I wouldn't even consider the MK8.
I haven’t been paying much attention to the platform the last few years.. what makes the 8 a no-go for you?
The UI. The lack of physical controls, every little thing requiring fussing with the stupid screen, the capacitive crap, I also just prefer the looks of the 7.5.

Ah.. yeah that probably won’t be for me either. I like physical buttons and shit. I’ll still go sit in one and test drive it to see what it’s like.

Pretty sweet looking Volvo wagon. Check out those seats. I guess these could be an option for me. The T8 plug in hybrid version is awesome but too much money. I think these theoretically “require” 91 octane.

Chinese Vulvas do seem to be nice. I wonder about Long term reliability and future of brand

Yeah my FIL has an XC90 T8 and it kind of feels “cheap” to me. Lots of gloss plastic. Infotainment is behind the curve. Suspension is a bit crashy. I dunno it feels on par with a Mazda or something.
I haven't been in a Volvo in maybe 15 years? They used to be so much more of a thing... I still think they look good, it's that they have wagons. I'd probably rock the old E class for 33% of the cost.
