I think the market has slowed down a LOT on them, and supply has caught up...
tacos are hard AF to find though.
Yea, there are no access cabs right now. Quite a few crew cabs I just want a long bed.

I mean C6 Z06 could be a decent option... As long as it had the valve springs done and or those needle bearing issues.

That said... I think a used engine is like sub 10k So its 1/3 of the cost of a Tacoma engine blowing up... thankfully GM parts are cheap.
I probably wouldn't do a C4... especially a ZR1, you like to drive your cars... and you like to DRIVE your stuff and not keep it in a bubble in a garage. They are just too old for this type of activity... 30 years is no joke...
I support all C6Z notions, but no salvage cars unless free.com. Interestingly enough I was passed by a C6ZR1 this morning and I will not rule that car out for myself. Those C4s are the two of the best C4 models ever made but I'm with Max those are cars and coffee cars, not drivers.

valid points. Nothing compared to camero rear seats other than moostang. But this would make for a great commuter at 1/2 of msrp. But yea no "balls" argument stands.

It's an excellent buy and a great all around car. If you weren't damaged goods like most of the people on this forum it would be 5/7.
