Interesting mods. This is the best Gayman spec IMO. Mods are good (BBS) but questionable also (lowering) also 76k.
All the GTS' I've seen start in the high 60's+. Some are even listed in the 80's.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 12:12 pmThis worked...Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 12:08 pm

Even the 718 with the 4 banger is 80+.

I think it is one of the most overpriced car categories IMO. 80k+ post tax for a 6 year old near bottom of the barrel Poorsche is shit.
987 prices have gone too like everything else. Lower mileage one's are closing in on 50k. I don't remember them ever being that expensive pre-rona

I would probably take this over a comparatively priced C7, both great cars but the mid-engine config tips the scales. Dang, I want one now too.Gberg2119 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 11:41 am Just browsing Gaymans for fun and came across this. How does a GTS on LM-R's end up at a nissan ? Used car managers are hitting people up on FB and asking to buy cars. 1/2 of my inquiries for the Teslas and mini came from that... and Mini did go to a VW dealer.

In a world where the 911 GT3 and 911 Turbo S exist they god damn are. Come at me. sub 100k porsches are bottom of the barrel, for porsche, not for the average human obviously.

My friend at FJ Audi in Chicago just had a dealer group meeting where the group said they want to pivot into a higher percentage of used cars sales so I'm not surprised to hear this from you either.

I was at Costco yesterday filling up the 4R, and at the pump opposite to me was a super clean older Mustang (like a 2010 or so). Out of nowhere, a dude with a polo walked up to the dude pumping gas and complimented the car. Told the guy he'd buy it "above market value with zero strings attached" gave the guy his card and told him to bring it by my Toyota dealer for an appraisal. The dude declined, and the dude pressed on saying "I promise it'll be worth your while, think about it."
Dealers here are still decimated with new car stock, pivoting to used cars seems to be the game. But what will happen when supply eventually catches up? Perfect storm for the industry.

Car dealers just like their average payment shopper are just about the most boom or bust businesses known to man.Detroit wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 1:53 pmI was at Costco yesterday filling up the 4R, and at the pump opposite to me was a super clean older Mustang (like a 2010 or so). Seriously. I feel like I've been saying that for years now, yet it just keeps going. Dealers here have zero new vehicles, and what does come in is already sold...STILLcoogles wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 3:16 pmCrazy. How long can this shit go on?Detroit wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 1:53 pm

It's changing ... The Audi I visited Monday also had quite a bit of inventory including 3 RS3s granted those were "pre sold"
Depending on the brand there can be a bit... Toyota/Honda/Kia/Hyundai are still decimated.
FCA (100+ out here again)
VW/Audi (50-100+ per dealer here)
Mercedes are 75-150 per dealer here again
BMW are 50+ here again
Some Ford dealers are stacked also. (50+ per dealer)
Subaru hit and miss but some 50+ (kind of lower inventory here usually)
Honda (sub 10)
Toyota (sub 15)
Hyundai (sub 15)
Kind of insane how different it is depending on brand. Usually most have 75-150
and yes I have no life and checked 40 dealers

Interesting that luxury brands seem to building inventory, while mainstream is still screwed. Could be an indicator of price sensitivity.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 3:54 pmIt's changing ... Just looked, and it looks like my local area is similar. The Audi dealer has more inventory on the website than I've seen since moving here 2 years ago. Including this whorange Q3 (looks cool, don't want) https://www.auditraversecity.com/new/Au ... 45295f.htm
BMW inventory seems to be increasing, as does MB.
Meanwhile, Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Hyundai, Kia, are all decimated with lots empty outside of a few used cars.

Dude you’re starting to scare me … when I traded my Model X they had a Smurf blue one on the lot… and I sat in it for shits and giggles. Plenty of room for line backers. Back seat kinda tight but the interior quality and size of car was great. I low key kind of thought it was the perfect car for

The 2016 model was surprisingly shitty for what it was... the current model is a notch above a golf in every way and it fits normal sized humans well. They fixed the two biggest issues.CaleDeRoo wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 6:14 pmI've been recommending this new Q3 to so many people, but usually the response is "I drove one in 2016 it was junk"max225 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 20, 2022 4:39 pm
