I leave for work at 6am daily. I don’t want to wake the neighbors or sit in a drone box, given this thing ticks over at 3500rpm at 80mph on the highway... If this was a weekend car it’d be a different story.

Damn, I’m getting old.

My Mountune exhaust on the FoST was perfect. Deep and punchy but barely louder than stock, and had a great sound on hard accel.

:derp: Just noticed it says it's no longer available.

I know it's technically for the first generation, but it appears to fit well. This video is of the 3" version, but it still doesn't sound too loud IMO.

If you look closely, the left tip sits about an inch or so lower than the right tip, you can see it in the thumbnail for the video.

IF I need one, i'll get this. Most likely will just end up in the Jeep for ride days.

:lolol: that's exactly what I thought of. I can't tell you how many times I tried to get my Brolas just right and level on the C5 before realizing it was just an impossibility.

Exhaust installed.

Deep, mellow and a little punch. Zero cabin drone and looks great. Just what I was looking for.

I’ll grab a couple videos as it breaks in.

Nothing like 25 degree weather to get behind fender liners to swap out side markers.

JDM Subaru LED side markers. Massive difference.

I just wish they had done something with the calipers.

There's a few reasons these things are so fairly priced. I'm sure there will be plethora of BBKs available soon.

On the 86, just about everything brake, exhaust and suspension is a carry over into this car. There’s plenty of options already.

That's not a street car, doe. The kit for the first gen BRZ and 86 wasn't bundled with a dry sump setup.

February allocation came and went and my order went unfilled. Now we wait until March. Unsurprising, but .

Subaru shut down production in Gunma twice so far in February so you’re probably not going to see anything until the 2nd March allocation cycle at best (Toyota does 2 allocations a month, typically). Production is still biased towards AT models and Premium MTs remain slim pickings.

Interesting note is the two other 86s that my selling dealer got have been held at port for “Quality Action” for 21 days. My car was pushed through despite arriving 10 days after their first allocation arriving at the port. The other 6MT Premium arriving next week is also listed as a port hold with no info as to why.
