I didn’t get too foggy last time, but this time was rough for the brain fog.

Think it has something to do with age? I recover from everything a lot slower now.

I think it’s a combination of age along with the fact that I’m eating as much food as last time while I’m carrying +20lbs of muscle and doing slightly more cardio this time. So my needs are theoretically higher, but I was operating on the same intake. I kept the pedal down hard on my workouts and cardio, so something had to give and it seems that it was my cognitive function.

Wow, an extra 20lbs of muscle along with more cardio is substantial with the same intake I'd think. Something has to give indeed.SAWCE wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 1:02 pmI think it’s a combination of age along with the fact that I’m eating as much food as last time while I’m carrying +20lbs of muscle and doing slightly more cardio this time. I've felt the effects of aging quite a bit in the last few years. And that's with a drastic change in diet, weight loss, and more activity. It's not very TBH.

I'll be dead long before I see another century. I've already kind of reached peak life for me, a few more decades at most for me.

My body is already in poor shape but I feel like I just started actually living.

I feel the same. I feel the most alive in the last year than I have in the last 35, yet my body isn't what it used to be and I'm still relatively young.troyguitar wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 1:38 pmDetroit wrote: I'll be dead long before I see another century. IMO This will soon be the norm on the Mainland as well..... I'm slightly left of center, but the $15 minimum wage is going to sound the death knell for many a small business and force those that do remain to significantly raise their prices....

I know my sense of taste is a little odd right now because of eating the same things every day for months on end, so other people might not find this as good as I do, but… goddamn. I started sprinkling a little salt on my peanut butter that I get with my dinner and it is. so. fucking. good.
32g of natural peanut butter (already just salt and peanuts) and then just lightly sprinkle some plain iodized salt over the top.. maybe 1g, I’ll have to weigh the salt tomorrow to see. But it really enhances the flavor of the peanut butter.

This is why salty crackers and peanut butter is the way to go. Wheat thins being the easiest because you can dip them directly into the jar.SAWCE wrote:I know my sense of taste is a little odd right now because of eating the same things every day for months on end, so other people might not find this as good as I do, but… goddamn. I even like Triscuits, even though people hate on them.
