Not much going on here. Roommates have to work in the morning. I'll probably still be up first though.
The weather is amazing outside right now I'd love to be playing some night time for hole or kanjam
Might pass out just like this
I really would love a few days off but we have some various travel planned this summer (using up the flight credits and shit we had planned for last year and couldn't do). I don't want to waste PTO but pretty with work at the moment. I am basically in the middle of onboarding/training three new people, including the one who was hired instead of me for the new role I was promised. Just kind of meh/ all around but still trying to have a good attitude (not all that successfully).
Fortunately 2021 is proving to be pretty dece for sales/commissions at least.

Washed my car this morning before the sun hit the driveway, then about an hour later the grounds crew came through the neighborhood. I think I'm gonna make some pancakes on the grill out back soon.

Weather is currently Had some rain overnight which cooled things off a bit. Should be low 80's today before cooling off to 60's for the rest of the week.
I'm off Friday and Tuesday, so 5 day weekend.
Found out on Monday that I again dodged a bit of a cancer scare.
and I just planned a pretty epic driving trip for next month.
That's pretty much it from WAPland.
About to head into my first meeting of the day.

I am having a bot of a pissing match with an employee that gave me three days notice before starting another job and yet now expects me to drop everything and fax her new employer background checks and TB screenings that I PAID FOR. The audacity of caregivers never ceases to amaze me.
I am also opening my pool and am cleaning and replacing filtration mediums in both the pump housing and the robotic cleaner. Its almost there.... still a bit cloudy but got all the green muck out...

Three days notice? Yeah, they can simmer down on you getting them their shit. Or better yet, have the new employer pay for the checks and screenings.Irish wrote: ↑Wed May 26, 2021 12:17 pm I am having a bot of a pissing match with an employee that gave me three days notice before starting another job and yet now expects me to drop everything and fax her new employer background checks and TB screenings that I PAID FOR. I've been on an opposite kick lately. claimed I could never go vegan and I told her "challenge accepted". I haven't eaten anything other than plants since Saturday, and I've gotten used to it much easier than I expected

Work is a heaping pile of garbage right now for me, people are leaving the company in droves. I want to be with them.
At least it's nice outside and my meeting cadence lets me be outside working around the house most of the day, which is
