I'd love to poke around one of these and a 1500 to see what they had to do to get the new interior into the old can.Detroit wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 11:27 am https://www.lafontainechryslerdodgejeep ... e=cars.com

Yep, size is definitely limiting, especially with an oversized fullsizer.

Yea I think 220” is about the longest you can go without having to park backwards every time and having to seek out giant spaces etc. initially my ‘s size didn’t bother me much when places were empty but now that parking lots are getting packed it is starting to show it’s size. And I am rolling in the smallest mid sizer

Silver Lake is an awesome open dune area to wheel. Pretty much the only place in the midwest to have fun with something like a TRX.

The post covidization of Murican traffic and parking is a rude awakening for thismax225 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 19, 2021 12:12 pmYea I think 220” is about the longest you can go without having to park backwards every time and having to seek out giant spaces etc. initially my ‘s size didn’t bother me much when places were empty but now that parking lots are getting packed it is starting to show it’s size. There's some scale issues making the full sizer look bigger than it is, but there's no denying it's a massive vehicle.

Yep, based off where you're standing, the Gen 3 appears bigger.

But really, the size difference between a Gen 1 and Gen 3 Taco is minimal, the truck has barely changed.

It is quite a bit taller in the front as the bro turds have a “factory lift kit” and god knows how old the suspension on the gen 1 is. But it’s interesting to see that they are “close” in size whereas the full sizer well is full sized. I can’t imagine a v6 in something that massive

Yea, the fullsizer just dwarfs the Taco...which is part perspective, but mostly just the fact that full sizers are so huge now. That's even a half ton, if it was a 2500+, it would look even more ridiculous.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 2:11 pmIt is quite a bit taller in the front as the bro turds have a “factory lift kit” and god knows how old the suspension on the gen 1 is. My 4.3 V6 Silverado (essentially the same truck as that GMC, actually) was actually fine. That engine is a great base truck engine, it even towed fine. But torque is really important in something this massive, putting a V6 designed for a car in that sort of vehicle is just idiotic.

Is the wheelbase shorter on the crew cab? That's weird.

The front of GM 2500 pickups look ridiculous in any setting.Detroit wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 2:18 pmYea, the fullsizer just dwarfs the Taco...which is part perspective, but mostly just the fact that full sizers are so huge now. They're really hideous IMO. GM design when to crap when Welburn retired.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 2:35 pmThe front of GM 2500 pickups look ridiculous in any setting.Detroit wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 2:18 pm
