Lowest snow fall totals in January maybe ever. There's zero snow in the forecast for the next 10 days, but that can always change. I really want a good snowstorm with feet at once.
That’s because Malibu is getting the snow. I actually got cold for the first time this year, like legit cold. It’s
20/30 mph winds up here right now and 45F and I decided to walk around in a t shirt and sweat pants for 20 min while adjusting some outdoor lighting and picking up branches that blew the fk off

Oh wow, that's wild.

My guess would be that Chris took some time off because he has read the dialogue on this page 1,345 times and decided to spend some of his free time doing something besides beating a horse to death.

Seems dramatic, but there's only so much a dude can handle. These ladies need to calm their
It is dramatic, won't likely happen but these few months have been trying. I think we're all in the same boat there.

is gonna start therapy soon. Found a good cost-effective option. PPD plus general blues affects her more, as she is more emotional. I am just stoic and but I think I struggle with some of my own anxiety issues. Should be good for her though.

Good luck with it bro, probably a good investment in time and money early on.

It’s crazy how much therapy actually costs at market value. It’s also crazy that government doesn’t do more to subsidize it like other issues. I think giving people affordable mental healthcare would do wonders in preventing homelessness, etc.

The way mental health is treated in this country is an embarrassment. There are so many benefits from mental health treatment that bleed into physical health, it's crazy. Drug abuse, obesity, and as you mentioned social issues like homelessness could probably all be drastically reduced with better mental health care.
And it's awesome to hear you figured out a way to get your wife in. It's worked wonders for us so far, we probably need to find someone to talk to again soon. Mental health is something you need to maintain, just like physical health.

Yeah man, winter blues paired with lockdown is a bad look for all of us. I count the number of PMS cycles until spring.
It's a perfect shit storm for IMO.

What's new today boos
I have this automation programming training 10-6 this week plus trying to close out my month strong and actually make some decent commission for the first time in a while... so not much time for anything outside of work
The training is surprisingly interesting/engaging for being remote at least.

Nice stuff! I'm a particular fan of Bullet rye.
At Costco pricing, BR is squarely in daily driver territory.
Totally. I almost always have a Costco bottle of BR on hand. That and Makers.
Our store recently started carrying "Kirkland Tennessee Whiskey", 1.75L for $35. It's a fantastic Jack rip-off that works great mixed with whatever soda (Zevia ginger root beer is my thing these days). Not terrible by itself either.

That actually seems for almost living in Canada
We're further north than a lot of people in Canada (Toronto at least)...this winter has been crazy mild.

27 here when I woke up. About 30 now.
Got about 4" of snow so far and it's still coming down at a decent clip. Snow-blew my driveway before leaving for work this morning and will most likely have to do it again when I get home.
