We've done well overall with being stuck together non stop for months, but this break is much needed. I just hope she doesn't get the damned virus going to what might be one of the biggest hotspots in the world, with a family that thinks it's all NBD.

Sup broseph.
I managed to put together ethernet comms between an archaic robot CPU and a new age vision system cpu today.
Network comms, back ground tasks (predefined by the vision group who have done it with different brands of robots), and mini programs that call ports and send i/o like fault resets. I fucking killed day one and set the infrastructure for a project that will be talked about on many levels across numerous companies. A half million dollar week long conversion project is now ahead of schedule and I am doing robot config, company interface, and project updates.
Good feels, I'm having a drink!
Wife did her interview today and feels lousy and nervous,

Wife did her interview today and feels lousy and nervous,, but we aren't putting any pressure on the sitch, and really don't know if she'll win the roll or not yet. Either way, she's back today and the kids are all hers for the week, so I get to be an actual non-teacher professional again until this robot-vision install is complete.

That's encouraging. Her family has managed to stay away from the virus so far, so that's good.

It would be better if we weren't forced together with no escape 24/7 for months on end. I think it's driving all the women nuts. The peace right now is bliss.

Actually something American, Bulleit Frontier Whiskey. I can handle it with a couple of ice cubes.

That's nice, based on my reunion today, I am guessing that yours will come home in a 5/7 mood! Fingers crossed for it.

Wow! You'll have more snow down by you than I have in Northern MI. It was mostly sunny and hit 32 today. Gorgeous day.

That or she'll be on a kick to move out west to be closer to her sister's kids and rest of her family.

I'm really hoping for a good return.
