Buyer is an attorney in Macon, GA. Iranian decent with stupid money - by my estimate of his age, his parents probably came to the states around the time of the revolution. Also owns a 911 turbo and a Raptor. Is in the process of buying an operational MiG 21 with another dude to fly around in. Offered to take me up in a couple months from a spot outside of Nashville. I’m so in.

KTM Duke 890 R.

Not as fast as the Aprilia was per se - it’s down about 50hp. However this bike is lighter and made to handle, which it does really well. It’s also happier riding around at legal speeds, which I couldn’t ever say about the Aprilia.

Overall, 5/7 purchase. Couldn’t be happier with it.

I like these. It's too bad it, and other little hot hatches like it, never took off here. I'd have loved to have seen Polo GTI's, a hot Chevy Spark, a ZoomZoom Mazderp2, etc on Murican roads.

Made it through 600 “break-in” miles on the KTM. An oil drain & fill and it’s ready to ride at full clap.

I’ll run a seal saver around it first, if that doesn’t work, replacement seals are readily available.
