Whoa whoa whoa, I never said it was you.[user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 7:44 pmBlame deserved and acceptedCalvinball wrote: ↑Fri Sep 04, 2020 6:52 pm
Similar. My wife and I have been together for 15 years, married for 7 because I had rude friends who kept getting married and I made so little money that it took forever to save up for a ring. I completely blame those friends because going to weddings is expensive.
But
It was you.

So you hate him because he goes to a chiropractor, dentist and speech therapist? Um, if you didn't book those appointments I'm pretty sure he didn't either. I'm not challenging your feelings but , he's your son and will need his mum and dad till he is like 25 y/o.
Just because he’s my son doesn’t mean that I immediately love him.
Hope things keep getting better for you and him.

My wife and I are 13yr marriage/18yr together.
As grumpy as we all are, interestingly I can't think of any of us who are divorced. Wonder if that stat is accurate and why?

I hadn't thought about it, but I don't think I know anyone under 40 who has been divorced. Though my dad was 45 when his happened.Tarspin wrote:My wife and I are 13yr marriage/18yr together.

I’ve got one buddy who’s been divorced twice. Almost got married a third time last year, but broke it off during the engagement. That definitely would have ended in divorce too. He turns 40 tomorrow.

Fuck me. 97° right now with high humidity and our power just went out. Got a text and email from SDG&E that estimated restoration is 9PM. It’s been about 5 minutes and I’m already dripping sweat.

I've now gone 2 full summers with no AC. Admittedly that's about as hot as maybe a month in CA.SAWCE wrote:$5 for some sweaty nip pics.

I look at it as practice for living in Europe, should we ever be allowed to do so. I'm generally trying to do what I can to get rid of shit and simplify our lives as much as possible since we can't be like you and have 4000+ square feet and all new everything, etc.[user not found] wrote:Still. I got lucky and only had to do one summer out here without AC. This place didn’t have it, but at least has the vertical slide windows so we were able to fit an AC unit in the bedroom.troyguitar wrote: ↑Sat Sep 05, 2020 10:06 pmI've now gone 2 full summers with no AC. You have the to be like "we're going to renovate multiple rooms every year" and then sell at a massive profit to buy an even bigger place[user not found] wrote:25 years old of 4000 sq/ft is a hell of a lot of worktroyguitar wrote: ↑Sat Sep 05, 2020 10:49 pm I look at it as practice for living in Europe, should we ever be allowed to do so. We can't even get into that "starter home" with 6 figures remaining for improvements.

How many rooms have you renovated and how many years have you been there?[user not found] wrote:That's laughably inaccurate.troyguitar wrote: ↑Sat Sep 05, 2020 11:37 pm You have the to be like "we're going to renovate multiple rooms every year"

I've never lived in a house with central AC. I didn't even have a window unit in my bedroom until my mid 30's.
