My mom had a pretty basic first gen Fusion, 2004??? That lasted a long time. In the 10 years they owned it, they only needed to replace the exhaust pipe. They traded it because the door handle fell off one day and my mom didn’t feel safe

I have no idea what the deal was. I don’t know why he was dead set on the F150. I told them to look at Rams.max225 wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 4:54 pmWow that’s horrible. Also curious what the deal that they got was ?Johnny_P wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 3:31 pm So parents bought a truck last weekend. To tow their travel trailer they ordered and will be here in a few months.
2020 F150 in Max225 Mini Cooper Gray. Crew cab XLT.
They drove a couple hours to this dealer man that had inventory and gave a good price.
Halfway home they turned the bitch around and went back because the truck was shaking at highway speeds. Dealer man said they would put new tires on it and test drive. They call next day and say the tires didn’t do it, there’s a problem in the rear end.
Dad said keep your shitty truck and give me my money back. Which they did.
Yay Fraud.
Current market is absolutely terrifying.
I was driving by a clean 2001 4 runner yesterday and I figured since I liked working on the taco, why not take a look.
134k Miles
Baldish tires
Dented Tail gate with a busted lock
$14,900
that’s getting close to what I paid for the mini.
2021 is a brand new model F150. So I imagine fraud has some good deals on existing inventory.

Hey man, the Fusion was highly rated for reliability. Mazda helped design it in their heyday as partners. It was a good pick.

No idea. Some enormous pickup I think. Maybe a Tundra. He’s not a Chevy guy and couldn’t give a shit about Chrysler products as they were problematic for him in the past. As far as I know he’s never owned a Toyota but their Japanese Subaru’s and Mazda have been good. So it wouldn’t surprise me.

Tundra's are assembled/built in San Antonio, TX too. So if they want to bring a part of their past SATX lyf with them wherever they go, Tundra is a good pick.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Mon Aug 17, 2020 8:27 pmNo idea. Some enormous pickup I think. He probably bought this for his wife (himself mainly) and she got pissed when she found out, so now he's selling it. No reservations personally, love the color.max225 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 12:43 pm https://carsandbids.com/auctions/356Z8k ... ab-trd-pro

Doug de rapo has a 4.5% fee on his site... so if it goes under 42k I think i'll bite... that's 44k post fee. But I don't think it would... also angry wife for 6 months?Tarspin wrote: ↑Tue Aug 18, 2020 1:11 pmHe probably bought this for his wife (himself mainly) and she got pissed when she found out, so now he's selling it. Remains to be seen honestly.
I've been in my dad 18' Raptor with the Ford Stage 1 package (dealer option) and it's super fucking nice. He overpaid for it, but that's normal for him. The TRX, while nice, is gonna be pushing $90k+ when optioned out, and that's just nuts. I would love a Raptor, but even the used pricing on this is ludicrous.
