Ah yeah Nissan.... tend to be pretty aloof / stupid drivers out here. There is a disproportionate amount of nissans involved in vehicle collisions here.CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 1:12 pmIt's Nissan drivers out here. Most have their front bumper cover slightly detached and flapping in the wind. You can't miss them in your mirror when they are flying up on you to end up passing on the shoulder at 100+.

Honda and Nissan are the cheaper "reliable" AKA Japanese brands in most minds. It is no surprise that those brand owners are the :worst: car owners on the road. My cottage neighbors rent to a bunch of low life crack head breeders who own what looks like a salvage MDX fixed and painted in someone's driveway. Disgusting bunch of shit heads, everything from parking habits, dog ownership, to garage drug habits enjoyed by me and my guests/renters and surrounding neighbors.

IMO... as annoying as it might be.... lane centering, auto braking, and back up cameras are really good things.Tarspin wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 1:50 pm Honda and Nissan are the cheaper "reliable" AKA Japanese brands in most minds. I want other drivers to certainly have auto braking... the masses are shitty drivers as proven by the 30k dead annually.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 1:55 pmIMO... as annoying as it might be.... lane centering, auto braking, and back up cameras are really good things.Tarspin wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 1:50 pm Honda and Nissan are the cheaper "reliable" AKA Japanese brands in most minds. Toyotas are for smart shoppers who don't care about cars or driving skills, the new ones come pre-dented to standardize the bumpers across the entire population.

One of my neighbors (acura driver) bought a Chevy Traverse or some shit 2 years ago. Every single body panel is dented from his shitty driving already. Despite having back up cam and sensors.

I loved the 90s Maxima and owned a 1990 240SX fastback. They were 5/7 cars when we were teenagers. Now they are bloated shitboxes with the worst components in the industry. I do like whatever that new 370Z thing is , hopefully they make a comeback someday.

For some people, there aren't enough cameras or sensors in the world that can help their shitty driving.

I hope that new 370Z is an indication of Nissan turning around and bringing fun vehicles back.
That is if Nissan can hang on long enough to turn around.
