Even for a 220v unit you need 50A to run most tub's for heating and jets and any LED lights. 30A will heat with jets off and run jets with heater off.

My friend at work has a pool and a hot tub. Her and her wife invite us over often and we just bring beer and have a good time. I think we're doing it right.

I negotiated the shit out of this thing, MSRP was $12k (joke, like the RV MSRP game), we paid $6,800 or so. I am fully prepared for 100% depreciation and maybe even 101.5% if I have to pay to have it hauled away.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Fri Jul 31, 2020 2:14 pmThe above ground hot tub. The only thing that depreciates faster and lower than a BMW.Tarspin wrote: ↑Fri Jul 31, 2020 1:37 pm I'm giving away the hot tub. We aren't really a fan of them and its 10 yrs old. A guy with four helpers and a truck is on the way, turns out I probably could have still gotten money for it but glad to see it go. These dudes apparently know how to move a hot tub so maybe they are going to resell or whatnot
What a mistake this was in the long term. Would 100% rather have quality sauna now that I had to deal with the tub.

As long as you get the invite often enough to keep you happy, that is the best way!D Griff wrote: ↑Fri Jul 31, 2020 4:42 pmDamn...CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Fri Jul 31, 2020 4:37 pm

I think me spilling a Large Dr. Pepper and onion rings from Burger King on the passenger floor, then cleaning it up with windex and shop oil rags from my service department was my favorite thing about that truck. Those cup holders were awful.[user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Jul 31, 2020 12:55 pmIt was remarkably great and remarkably terrible all in the same.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Fri Jul 31, 2020 12:49 pm
That thing is easily in the running for Top Ten DFD POS for sure.
It somehow hauled a bed full of stuff 3.5 hours to our wedding venue and 3.5 hours back at 75 MPH.
I'm not sure how.
That and the starter wire.

Solid aquisition IMO and going to take my time with further purchases but I want MOAR shit now.

Working today with our alarm guy at a new site. Taking next Friday off as a reward (swap). Sucks but I don’t mind.

Yeah plus it’s super lowkey right now. Just me and the alien guy. Through the weekdays (this is a new banking branch) we have over 5-6 contractor/vendors here with 3-4 guys each. Fucking
Gonna head up to Mustang Beach or Padre Island next weekend. It’s the wifey’s bday next Friday as well and it’ll be the first time we travel/stay overnight with the so it’ll be a good test trip to prep us for going to Florida next month.

I am a dish and bottle washing MACHINE.
Holy fuck. Every 2 hours = 2 diapers, 1 bottle, and rocking for 30 mins to get him to sleep. So that leaves... about an hour to either sleep, wash shit, make food, or generally clean up.
Little dude is alright though. Spider monkey cuddles are great.

I never claimed to be a genius, but I somehow keep thriving. Finalized the work out with a few laps in the pool while checking out the stars.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 1:57 pmTarspin wrote: ↑Sat Aug 01, 2020 1:09 am Wife unit is loving the treadmill
