Momma is doing ok. Recovering and learning how to feed. Last night was awful but we are figuring it out.
Congrats! Feeding can be tough. If she’s breastfeeding, a lactation consultant can be a huge help.
First doc visit tomorrow. The office apparently has a very good lactation consultant on staff. Will find out. Lisa isn’t producing a lot (which I believe is typical of a first born) so today we started supplementing with formula. Little dude legit got milk drunk and passed the f out after feeding lol.

Congratulations Johnny! Exactly the same size as my first. Every night gets better.
Last nights disaster was our swaddles are different than the ones in the hospital. But figured them out today. And also realized he sleeps better with his arms out to flail around instead of being tucked in. He likes to hold his head as he sleeps. It’s adorbs.
I swam and hauled/assembled this beast, probably doesn't count for much besides caloric deficit which I'm sure that I am in until I eat this crazy dinner.
Super chill day otherwise, 2 hrs of work and I'm feeding the fam and in laws with take out on my way back. Should be ready by now.
Do you work out at home? If so what is your setup? I'm thinking of the bowflex (or equivalent) adjustable dumbell set, a flat bench with adjustable back to sitting pos, curled and straight bar, and a squat rack with maybe a pull up bar attached to it. Not sure about leg extensions and hamstring curls yet but I could live with doing biometric stuff on youtube or whatev. No plans to bulk just build on my current physique and stay active when the weather goes to shit. I guess I can just keep adding pieces as needed, thoughts?
I have pretty much improvised at home since the gyms closed... this all started in March which is very nice here, so I do pull ups/chin ups/hanging leg raises from a tree. I have some dumb bells and brake rotors for extra weight. In addition to the aforementioned, it's lots of push ups, lateral raises, curls, overhead pressses,, basically any dumbell move you can think of. I haven't done much with legs since quarantine other than cycling, running, hiking. I have definitely lost a bit of muscle but also gotten a little leaner throughout the 'VID which is OK.
If you got all that you're mentioning you'd be made in the shade. Personally I think a rack and barbell set is really all you need - you could bench, dead lift, over head press, squat, curl, row, and all kinds of variations on those things... back when the gym was open 75% of my workouts were just barbell stuff with Wendler 531 and assistance work.
Yeah you're right, no need to go crazy with all , a rack, free weights and a barbell set covers most things. I'd still like to have a squat rack and be able to go a bit heavier for natural production

Power racks are nice because you can squat, bench safely, and pretty much everything else with one.

The Into the Wild bus is going to be displayed at the Univ of Alaska’s Museum of the North.

My guess would be that Chris took some time off because he has read the dialogue on this page 1,345 times and decided to spend some of his free time doing something besides beating a horse to death.

I am weirdly to sit in my for 12 hours next Saturday. I enjoy watching the world pass me by. Plus, this is the one time in life I can take the 95 corridor without being fucked with traffic.
