No idea yet. There have been rumors pointing to it being our fault and rumors pointing to it being the Navy’s fault. I imagine we won’t know until it’s extinguished and they can do an investigation, but even then with how badly it’s burning I can’t imagine that’ll be easy to determine.

One time a pregnant wifey and I went to a Mexican restaurant to eat. There was a family next table to us playing baby shark on repeat.... in various languages too. I didn’t even know they had it in other languages.
Worst restaurant ever

i went in July when I proposed. As someone that works in the water industry it's like . T shirt, shorts, and skate shoes all day weather. I plan on retiring and moving to Canada.
Haven't looked too far into it but Id be happy to work up there. My california license ( because it's california ) basically gets me in anywhere.
would have to do a ton of studying to take Canada's bar exam due to the fact that a country has a ton of differences. States vary enough as it is.
Just got a haircut before Newsom shut us down again. He's trying to not get reelected
I've been a number of times, used to go up to Buffalo for work and I'd always take a trip up, there is really good Indian food in Niagara as well, lots of locals came over from there. She hasn't though and was always . It is definitely an sight.NeonJonny wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2020 5:05 pmi went in July when I proposed. As someone that works in the water industry it's like . Wholeheartedly agree that Canada rules. It's really cold there though and houses are expensive. I don't think they will take Americans either

I can buy a bigger house in Niagara than what i paid for my house here. I'd actually come out ahead. Half a mil house with 1500 square feet was less in ciry of niagra.D Griff wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2020 5:45 pmI've been a number of times, used to go up to Buffalo for work and I'd always take a trip up, there is really good Indian food in Niagara as well, lots of locals came over from there. Steam Whistle Brewing was awesome. Go Blue Jays.
Yeah, SoCal housing is also pricey. I haven't ever looked in Niagara, just Toronto and Vancouver. Vancouver would be awesome but a standard house is like $1.5 million versus $300-400K here in NC.NeonJonny wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2020 6:03 pmI can buy a bigger house in Niagara than what i paid for my house here. Canada?? Yeah any DFDer would be a welcome addition. I wonder why American citizens don't have an easier time coming our way, usually we loose well educated citizens looking to make more money and pay less taxes by working in the USA, especially in medical fields.
If you have a 1.5h drive or greater to the Toronto city center then you will find houses under 500k CAD, so pretty comparable. Any little bit closer and the prices climb. The best you could do in the 40 min range is about 700k for a 1500sqft detached with car port, still reasonable since we get rates offered as low as 2.39% right now and renewing every 5 yrs.
The standard immigration process takes like five years and is based on points, so language, education, finances and career demand sway the odds. Weirdly enough anywhere in line with or south of Toronto is pretty mild and gets better weather then Buffalo. I think it's some lake effect, but generally we get amazing weather from late May until September, then it goes to hoodies for a week and get ready to dust off the snow tires, Halloween is usually near freezing most recent years and you might as well work a bunch of overtime since there's not much outdoor fun to be had unless you like skiing and boarding in Dec to March.

+1 on the Canada train. Wifey and I visited Montreal and it was awesome. Super nice people and beautiful country. However, there is insane amount of wealth in big cities in Canada and likewise shit is also expensive there.
I'd love to retire and fuck off to Montana eventually.

I'd move to Toronto tomorrow but Canada doesn't want us.
