Single use? That seems so :wasteful: to me. I've never worn glasses- only recently started wearing contacts. Glasses are against my religion. :dislike:

I only wear them on weekends so it isn’t nearly as :wasteful: as wearing them everyday.

My wife had some medical issues a number of years ago and had to switch to the dailies from the monthlies. The cost is actually not too different per month.

I have dailies. They're about $90 a box of 90. So, every time I wear contacts it's $2, which is most days for working out, car work or yard work.
I wear contacts when I know I'll be sweating.

I'd wear them all the time, I did in the past, but now I have dry eye issues and I can't wear them for long periods of time.

Determination came back on my UC benefits from PA...

Appeal denied. They refuse to do anything about me working in Texas. So now I'm trying to file in Texas as well. TX's system is so overloaded they can't even just put me on hold all day, they're flat out telling people they can't take the call and to try again some other time. The only options are online file (which it won't let me do) or phone call (which I can't get through for).

Covid is cured though and jobs are so strong, never been stronger.

Just got back from the doctor. Follow up went well. Incision looks good and stitches out. Xrays are good. Swelling under control. Got a custom splint molded and an intro to PT.

Joint is super stiff and I have almost no motion. 6 weeks of simple exercises to get things moving again, strength training after that and the goal is to get 80%-90% range of motion back.

There’s a small chance the tip of a screw is moving into the cartilage in the elbow. If that happens they’ll go in and take the screw out. In general, things are about as good as it can be given how much damage there is.
