I drove a stage 2 ECU/TCU MK7 R and it's bananas fast for what it is. I can see where the high 11 second quarter mile times come from. The gears are short enough that if your primary goal is to go fast in a straight line, you really should just get the DSG. You're into 3rd and going 80 in a blink, there'd be no keeping up in a manual car.

Makes me glad I got rid of the Mk7 when I did. Mountune stuff is phenomenal.
