That's how my mini service was... the only decent one in this area. $99 and no 2/3 week wait and all that BS. And they even give loaners.Detroit wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 1:05 pmMaybe?
All the other I contacted in the "nice" areas where suits live treated me like crap in addition to their "2 week minimum" wait for an oil change. I rolled in today in jeans and a hoodie with a drywall mask on my face, and they didn't seem to treat me different than any other person there and had my truck done in ~2 hours.

This should just be a normal experience IMO. Sad that it's not.max225 wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 1:06 pmThat's how my mini service was... the only decent one in this area. $99 and no 2/3 week wait and all that BS. And they even give loaners.Detroit wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 1:05 pm

Leave them good Google/Yelp reviews... This stuff goes a long way, drives customers to them instead of the shit places, makes shit places go away over time or improve.Detroit wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 1:05 pmMaybe?

I left them a great google review when we bought the JL. Never left multiple reviews for the same place, but I guess it won't hurt.D Griff wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 1:23 pmLeave them good Google/Yelp reviews... I would if I wasn't already paying for the oil changes.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 2:38 pm Just change your own oil and the dealer service is 5/7 every time.

A nice saturday morning, the Quickjack, latex gloves and couple cups of coffee with a little sportsball on the TV is not a peasant experience. I'm not laying in gravel in the hot sun scraping the shit out of my hands.max225 wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 3:00 pmI am sorry I don’t speak peasantDesertbreh wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 2:38 pm Just change your own oil and the dealer service is 5/7 every time.
I kind of like stuff like that. For me it's some good tunes or a podcast, it can be therapeutic. labor stuff is so different from my day job, it's refreshing.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 3:04 pmA nice saturday morning, the Quickjack, latex gloves and couple cups of coffee with a little sportsball on the TV is not a peasant experience. A 7 figure house, 5 figures in tools, 2 figure coffee and a 4 figure tv, can make even the most of peasant activities joyfulD Griff wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 3:23 pmI kind of like stuff like that. My VW is the same as well. Brought the Blue Meanie in last week for the new key, 10k service, tar rotation, etc. Done in less than 90 minutes for $95 (had a coupon that I printed out from their website for free tar rotation). I could have had a loaner if I wanted one but I didn't need to be anywhere that morning.max225 wrote: ↑Tue May 19, 2020 1:06 pmThat's how my mini service was... the only decent one in this area. $99 and no 2/3 week wait and all that BS. I get at least 50 cups of coffee out of one 12 ounce bag
I also buy $4-8 bags.

I looked it up, oil changes on the JT are easy.
No need to jack it up in my case, and nothing in the way of the drain plug to remove.
The filter is a cartridge on top of the engine that's staring you in the face as soon as you pop the hood. Nothing to remove to get access either.

We bought a bag of coffee beans roasted locally for $9 last week. That bag will last us 2 weeks, making a coffee press ~4 cups every morning.
Buy STRONG shit, then use less beans to dial in the flavor. Ultimate
