Want a set of rollers? You can straight up have them if you want them. Used 3x. Not my thing apparently.[user not found] wrote: ↑Thu Apr 09, 2020 10:57 pmEveryone I normally ride with is on Zwift, and we can't ride together so...

I'm afraid that I'll hurt myself trying to "win" if I get Zwift.

Win.

Went for a trail ride this AM at the system by my house. They've closed all parks here to vehicular traffic so I'm really lucky/happy to have a few trails accessible from the new house by bike.

Usually as service/crash replacement parts, yes.
They’ve stopped producing Occam frames of that generation. They didn’t want to completely sand an existing piece down to refinish and it’s far too expensive for them to manufacture a single unit to be custom painted orange for me now the 16-19 model years are out of production.

No, actual injury. That's why I stopped running. I got pretty quick, then entered a race and proceeded to pound the shit out of myself trying to win. I still lost and it hurt to even walk for months afterward.[user not found] wrote:By hurt yourself you mean get faster, right?troyguitar wrote: ↑Fri Apr 10, 2020 1:22 pm I'm afraid that I'll hurt myself trying to "win" if I get Zwift.
I'm really good at giving 110% effort or 10%, but terrible at at doing 100%.

Haircut.
They originally wanted me to send it in to inspect. Then repair. Then replace with the wrong color. Then repaint one they have in stock in Spain when Spain is open for business again. Then make one to paint the right color, with none of the accent designs or branding. Then paint it the way it should be done. Then finally give up and replace the frame.
3 weeks.

Yeah I haven't looked into how it works at all, but if it is competitive then I will try to win. Why bother competing otherwise?fledonfoot wrote:The best of the best ride zwift. Including pros. You can cruise around and do whatever you want, go where you want to go.
You can enter races with all different levels, or even group rides that bunch everyone together and scale the effort needed to keep it fun.

Cleaned the bike, knocked a good 2 lbs of mud off it. Tire held, magically, without me doing anything to it. So I have no idea what happened there. Need to brap. Wanna do a socially distant gravely ride?

I helped @fledonfoot buy a new bike for his woman on Wednesday night while DFD1 was burning to the ground.
2017 Liv Embolden 2, by Giant. It's basically a women's specific Giant Stance.
I took it for a quick ride around the block and despite the funky women's geometry, it's a smooth, relaxed trail bike with 5" of front and rear travel. It's an impressive bike for the money. Just need to dial her in for the wife and it should last her a long, long time.
It didn’t.

This would've been a great time to get her out... until they closed all the parks.
Wifey wants to get out on her bike too.

work [user not found].
We went for a random drive and came across a wildlife area/pond that wasn’t shut down so we hung out and had lunch watching people kayak and fish. Everyone was pretty much keeping 20+ feet apart too.

Can someone help me with best route to 700c wheels?
I have a vintage 1986-87 Schwinn Traveller. I've replaced the 27" wheel twice now and the new one was stepped on in storage. I'm done with 27" vintage shit. It's slightly warped but I think beyond repair.
I should be able to just add some extended long reach brakes and bolt in some 700c wheels. I youtubed it as well. What's the best all around general purpose wheel? I considered going to a single speed if doing new brakes and wheels. And maybe even a hybrid setup for mild gravel trails. Suggestions?
Budget is about 200 all in. So looking for some used wheels or take off.
