There's a mexican supermarket by our office that has a little take out restaurant up front. THE BEST BURRITOS
Wife went grocery shopping up there last week to make sure the place stays in business and brought back burritos. Soooooo good. Their carnitas are
Inb4 wife drove 20 miles to go grocery shopping.

That's an accomplishment man! I need to work on that. I won't get on the scale, but my clothes fit the same so I'm going to assume I'm mostly the same. I'm way less active than before, so that's a win.
I haven't seen the taco truck in weeks. I hope they make it through this. $5 burritos for lyfe.
The cheaper the burrito, the better it is IMO. Do taco trucks roll around in the winter in Philly? They pretty much stay parked all winter here.
And we don't have real taco trucks, sadly. Stupid food trucks with artisinal tortillas and organic ethically raised tofu...all for the low price of $17.85 AND YOU BETTER TIP.
There's no reason for 3x street tacos to ever cost more than $7. Or same for a burrito.
Yeah he's usually open throughout winter. Truck drives off every weekend though. It's a cool process. He has a beat ass F150 he parks in the nearby lot and just swaps spots so he's always got his place.
Also I know everyone each other over the ‘Rona today but damn, I gotta say I missed the fast-paced OT life.
Wish I could’ve participated more tho.

DFD. The forum where everybody makes the same choices and then tells anybody trying to join the club that they are the stupidest motherfucker to ever walk the earth.
Killing animals for fun...I will NEVER understand...despite my post above about seeing other's POVs. I could see deer hunting or the like because I love venison and we could eat for a while off a deer...but just killing something to turn it into a trophy is really sad.
Do you have a Zebra head on your wall? No? DIDN'T THINK SO, SNOWFLAKE.
Me too, fuck Virginia (except for northern). more chill cops and cheaper rent, more mid-atlanticy. VA beaches suck, I always go to MD and Delaware for that, Rehoboth being my fav.
Yesterday and today my neighborhood has been "buzzed" by helicopters. Haven't seen or heard one in many months, but in the last 2 days they have gone overhead at about drone level, 500 feet.
Must be the .gov using FLIR cameras to see if we are staying at home, or deploying mind control gas..

I think everyone could stand to be a bit more open to different ways of thinking.
I like to try to understand even the most arguments just to force my brain to bend in different directions. I may or may not agree, but it can be a fun mental exercise.
In fact, I don't disagree with a lot of Brad's points...

This.
Everyone post some good news.
1.) Home schooling the kids, I see progress in both of them and my uncontrollable 4 y/o is actually becoming controllable.
2.) Saving 5-7k by donating my time to a project that would otherwise get outsourced (see home thread), this essentially breaks even with me working for a month.
3.) The weather is getting warmer and the biking/outdoor shit with kids is helping me lose weight too
4.) People are generally becoming kinder and more aware of each other, like people actually making eye contact when they see one another (from a distance), I feel like this event will change how people interact with one another for years to come

It was super rough, I have been working @ this for over a year... and nothing worked. So I decided to give up the last stand... Booze.. sober around 40+ days now.. so that's part of it.

I feel you on #2 so hard.
This weekend I'll start painting and will probably end up painting my house myself. Materials will be about $1500 for new siding plants, and soffit boards.
I'm not sure what I'll replace that old metal awning with. Maybe something else like that.

This, when I got to Turkey I heard some people at the airport bitching about their sister not giving her a ride because of work, I haven't yet seen one form of entitlement for a while, and man is that refreshing. One Turkish friend with parents was taking his GMAT to get to his masters in France, because he wants to "experience living in Europe" for couple years. He gets so fucking stressed out about not happening, I told him "dude just chill, we're all in this situation together". He's time sensitive af, like he has to get married by 30,etc. Well I plan on getting my used M240i too, should I bitch about how I may potentially not get that for atleast another 6 months for whatever reason?

Sun is finally out here as well which is but it is a solid tease!
Yeah, I spent about an hour out in the sun this morning for the first time in I don't know how long. After yesterday's pouring rain BBQ it was a welcomed change.

Yea..booze makes the difference for me too, so I just decide to be fat.
But seriously, I'm going to take this time to find the balance. We've been boozing way too much through all of this, and it's not doing any good.

It's fucking twisted, IMO.
Where are these mangos?

I don't understand anything anymore.
Their flag is 5/7 and a better driving state to my liking, with the exception of crazy s with their beat 98 Camry's and Altima's with auto zone chrome parts passing people at 90 mph on beltway/i95 shoulder
Ah yes, the classic 90mph on the shoulder pass in bumper to bumper traffic. That is very MD
Remember on our way back from PDRBQ, so many close calls thanks to s, I'll never forget that Prius one where I flashed my beams to let him in, featuring hard braking.

Its satisfying to do what needs to get done for a fraction of the cost of a contractor, I'm fully taking advantage of the free time man. Good luck with the painting BTW.
I read a solid book recently called The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck, we should all read it. It's amazing! One of the key take aways is the statement a famous writer offered, to get an extraordinary novel written he simply pushed himself to write down 200 mediocre words per day. That's it! Eventually the day came where the genius began to pour out, and 200 words suddenly turned into hundreds of pages of magic.
I'm beginning to put this logic into practice and it really does get me off my ass. 5/7 logic
