I wish Troy owned my car prior to me. It probably won't have an after market intake that puts the MAF right under the hood/bumper gap to get soaked when it rains causing the car to throw cel and misfire.Desertbreh wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 6:41 pmDFD. Mine never leaked either...and it saw rain on a somewhat regular basis.

leaks on both sides, the passenger side is definitely the worse of the two.troyguitar wrote: ↑Mon Mar 23, 2020 6:36 pmI fixed the driver's side but never got around to the other side.CaleDeRoo wrote:Mine leaks from both windows

My car got rubbed down with the ooey gooey clay today. No car I've ever owned has ever been this clean. Considering a full paint correction now tbh

Have the shop take paint thickness readings first. You need to know how much clear is still on the car after all the years. If it's thin I would just think about coating alone.CaleDeRoo wrote: ↑Tue Mar 24, 2020 6:18 pm https://youtu.be/XoppCz2X4AQ

I can get that done. The entire front end, bumper, hood, fenders, and side mirrors were repainted due to rock chips by the previous owner more than ten years after he bought the car. My friend did say the front looked like someone who didn't know what they were doing tried to buff it at some point. The only reason I'm considering a full correction is hoping that the age difference in the clear coat front to rear is what causes the obvious color difference in certain lights.CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Wed Mar 25, 2020 6:35 pmHave the shop take paint thickness readings first. God willing. And hopefully my car is good to go by then. No reason that everything I want to do won't be done... but kinda need the race shop for my alignment and another shop for my ball joints... All of the control arms are sitting in my carport redneck style.
