The other issue is Rona ... it will seriously impact the car biz. Paycheck to paycheck which apparently 1/2 the country will start to crumble and flood the market with cars ... good time to be a repo man
I think that will hit the used market pretty hard... BUT I'm OK with losing more on my relatively low value stuff to drop pricing across the board, it's been
Maybe I can get into something more interesting if used prices drop, like a 981 Cayman or 997... hell if I'm doing aight and everything really goes, I could even go for an Evora possibly.

Could've bought another one for $10k after the apocalypse and come out ahead vs being underwater for 6 years.max225 wrote:And just sit at home with a thumb up your ass until the zombies eat you ? You don't know how bad it'll get. The way of looking at it is assuming that your current assets will not get repurposed for other things, and you will be able to spend it on disposable shit like cars, that's the first thing people cut. At least this way you already got a car and it is economical enough to enjoy, during the inevitable downturn.

I don't think I like the faux low hood line. It doesn't work with the high belt line and ass end.

Probably could now.
Local DJCR diller offering 6 months deferred payments.
Definitely impacted... weirdly I'm having a pretty good sales month but I assume that will go out the window soon.max225 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 11:31 amAre you not impacted at all? I don’t know a single person that isn’t in some way.D Griff wrote: ↑Wed Mar 18, 2020 11:10 am

BUT times like these I think it's really hard to stay positive, it helps just a little to think about some fun possibilities. If used cars drop by 40%... well I'm going to lose like $10K in value but still have profit on the table and something like a 997 may be more attainable.
