A shop that specializes in European cars. Mostly VAG but they do a lot of BMWs and occasional Mini too.

Looked up price of injectors on ECS and they have a Bosch one for like $70, and a genuine Mini for $330.
With :dillerman: tax that’s probably around $400, and closer to $1000 in total with $150/h and fuel line that should also be replaced when pulling the rail.

I would do plugs and coils if the car was at home but I can’t fuck around and troubleshoot in the parking lot at work when I have no other car.

Injectors not really a DIY thing, buried under the intake manifold.
Found a guide and didn’t seem too difficult but definitely not something I’d attempt in a parking lot 30 min from home.

Shop called and said a coil is bad so told them to replace all so injectors should be fine.
Having done some research, it’s quite rare to have injectors go bad, but who knows.

On an unrelated but I’ve been asking about tunes a while ago and turns out this shop can tune it too.
Beats having to ship the ECU to some fraud on the Mini forums for $800..

Will fit my colder plugs and FMIC before I leave it to them so hopefully it’ll be done sometime next month.

Time for a :bread: I think..

If he wasn't an orthodox :scrooge: he could run 100 like I do, or a mix of 100 and 91 to get 93/94.

It's not cheap, but you need to do what you need to do to feed the need for PSI and timing advance.

I don’t think that :unicorn: gas station selling 100 is near me.. and with my lovely 270 mile range ... I’d like to stick to my donkey piss fuel. Also I don’t mind the power at all Im the mini... it’s more than enough to move it around. I’d probably want to downsize the wheels and put mpss on it as a mod

The one in Sonol is the closest to you that I know of. There are more and more, but nobody seems to advertise them. I'm lucky and have a station within a mile of my house. Before that I would get it in Sonol on my commute since I drive right by it on 680 (you can see it from the freeway).

Wait. Weren't you complaining about the lack of one wheeler peelers in the mini? PSS wouldn't help in that department.

I can't do a full blown burn out without wheel hop and feeling like my dash is going to slap me in the face. But there is enough power there... its just how it's put down. The :205:s could be a bit wider. It still handles way better than my 335i and close to the fun of the M3, while it doesn't have the downright G forces. It slots right in between the two.
