So @[user not found] did you buy another car.
The plan is to get the sparcos still... 5mm spacers from ECS are $78... I don't think I can go here unless the back will look wonky with the spacers in the front only.

You can get 4 spacers on ebay for $20. No need for anything

Other question, would you guys go or auto on the FJ. I sort of have 2 lines on some nicer units. One one auto... I can't seem to make up my mind as I go back and forth on this.

Yea really tough call... I don’t know if full time or part time matters ? What’s the downside ?[user not found] wrote: ↑Sat Mar 07, 2020 11:07 pmI think I’d go auto. Hard call.
The FJs are full time 4WD only.

Yea they really are set super far inwards[user not found] wrote: ↑Sat Mar 07, 2020 11:09 pmI’d add 5mm spacers to the rear as well, will balance things out. The rear wheels appear inset more from the factory anyway due to the rear camber.

All you need is the bolt pattern and hub diameter. These aren't complicated parts.max225 wrote:I just need to make sure they actually fittroyguitar wrote: ↑Sat Mar 07, 2020 1:42 pm You can get 4 spacers on ebay for $20. No need for anything

It shouldn’t be, but my dumb ass is trying to squeeze the biggest possible tire into this chassis. That’s where it gets tough.troyguitar wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 12:20 amAll you need is the bolt pattern and hub diameter. These aren't complicated parts.max225 wrote:

215s on any other car is puny but this chassis starts with 175s or so no major changes for the JCW. Which is why the stock wheels are frigging concave stock.

Yep, but I have actually seen a few pass on the s because they can’t drive em. The take rate was only 10% on the FJ.troyguitar wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 12:21 amTemporary secondary vehicle? ormax225 wrote:Other question, would you guys go or auto on the FJ. will ultimately be worth more.
Sure, not everyone wants one but more than 10% of cheapass used buyers do want them and there are only 10% available.

Ahh yeah I thought you meant the spacers specifically. If you're not in a hurry, just grab the and evaluate what spacers you might need afterward.max225 wrote:It shouldn’t be, but my dumb ass is trying to squeeze the biggest possible tire into this chassis. Kind of my thinking ... I can’t really figure out the rest at the moment. I think I literally need to buy the $1100 wheels plus pay for mounting and balancing and tire sensors... which would be close to 2k vs $1300 for the tire rack spaced kind.troyguitar wrote: ↑Sun Mar 08, 2020 11:16 amAhh yeah I thought you meant the spacers specifically. No real benefit other than guaranteed fit and they are $700 more with a 3 week longer lead time.
My buddy’s Ranger is like that... you can’t even use 5th on the highway unless you’re going down hill really.

Why not? I took a fridge home in my ZR2 with 5' foot bed no problem.
