you could easily get distracted to find something on the bottom of the screen, which makes it much riskier to rear end someone too. Angling it towards the driver would make it easier for sure, just not a very thoughtful design

I agree I'd prefer the regular screen but I wouldn't not buy a truck because of it. I'd just keep the climate control screen on the bottom, and I'm fairly certain there are still hard buttons for those as well as tuning/volume knobs. That scream also includes a bangin ass stereo which is a bonus for me. Overall that screen wouldn't make or break a deal for me. Maybe that would change if I actually drive a truck with one however.

Just to clarify things in here, I have interest in 's the main reasons why I am looking at them are:

1. resale
2. Cost of a new Taco is the same as a 6 year old FJ with 50k miles
3. Capability of the Taco is very closely comparable to the FJ

Honestly, if it wasn't for our retarded Sales Tax structure I would have probably gotten it.

The twist in all this is...

Taco equipped as I like it is 37.8k - 1k rebate right now... TBD on rape
Gladiator is actually around 41k but they have 7k on the hood here, so it ends up being cheaper

The other question will be WIlly's which have 0 dollars on the hood here at this moment, as for some reason my favorite dealer stopped stocking Wranglers, and they went from 130+ units to 15...

It really has... I don't understand why things are the way they are.

0-3 year old tacos cost more than new.
6 year old FJs cost as same as a new taco
0-3 year old jeeps cost more than new
No used gladiators period

So it is what it is... I sort of don't want something with 120-150k miles that has been beat to shit to save 50%... I have looked at 100s of vehicles online and dozens in person and they were frigging 'ing so if its pay to play than so be it. I don't really see it as "savings" as these vehicles are covered in filth normally, have worn out or shit chinese components like tires all over and are frequently crashed, etc. It's just annoying.
