Turd sport is not right for moi.... I found off road versions to be quite easy to find. I'll see how :fullretard: i want to go with this...
At this price point (40k) it is either a Willy's or a Taco Turd.... unless I find a nice sub 20k older FJ or sub 30k newer fj.
The goal of this is just an occasional use off road play toy?

I mean. I'd be looking at 4x4's under $15/20k in that case. Who cares if the miles are high and it's somewhat beat up exterior wise at least. You're seeing that these hold their value very well. I personally wouldn't really feel too great about pin striping a brand new truck. That would both limit my decision to take it places and annhiliate resale value. Nobody wants to ceramic guard their truck multiple times a year just so you can push on a bush a few times.
:hai:

:fullretard: checking in.

Haha. I mean it’s fine :thisisfine: I just know how I’d personally feel. Kind of like street parking a brand new $40k car vs street parking something $18k with a few scratches on it already :iono:

Most people here think I’m a retard for not plunking down $300/mo for a parking spot 1 mile away from my house.

If I was an enthusiast I’d do it. But I’m not. Despite daily driving a manual track focused sports sedan in one of the northeast’s most congested cities.

Like I’d be looking at the $16-18k last gen four-oh tacos with 85+ on the clock. Few vehicles I’ve driven have had the same sort of rough and ready let’s go climb some curbs And do dumb shit feel than those.

Like if a similar Jeep is too pricey.

Well I'd rather new for 37k msrp at that point 100k miles is not a joke. :dislike: I will never understand 60-70% of original purchase price for something with 100k. But I understand the lack of depreciation draw... they won't dump under 20 unless 200k which they will never see under my ownership.

I sort of looked... and most are beat to shit by Laquishas by the time they are for sale now... they have had a really rough last 5 years or so. I also found it surprising to see so many with blown motors. I figured it was probably some sort of maintenance issue, as the engine/trans combo at least on "paper" should be really solid.

See? Plenty capable off road.

If you are within CA, please do your own research regarding vehicle registration. I am happy to provide some information, but it is ultimately the buyer's responsibility to determine how best to handle this.

There are some insanely cool 4runners out of Japan. These seem to hover between 15-18k, with recaros, or diesel, or even :manuel:
