Maybe they know their back-end and figure they'd be better off losing money/netting even to move Jeeps/Wranglers FAST and make their nicer profits on more "mass market" cars? Like they know that at an aggressive price the Wranglers will fly off the shelf?
Maybe a one-off? Who knows? Vroom knows.

DFD. The forum where everybody makes the same choices and then tells anybody trying to join the club that they are the stupidest motherfucker to ever walk the earth.

Nah they lost their ass, and will put it into their future wrangler offers. This should have been a 22/23k trade offer

Man over 9000 off a leftover 19 jeep... it brings it down to FJ pricing ... is going on with the used market that you can't get a JL under 30k used yet new ones cost the same/less than used ones.

You won't.
I am trying to stay under 30k. even with the discunt it is over 35k.. OTD. The AZN also "Hate the way jeeps drive" after being in the FJ. Go figure...
Can't be bothered to help my SIL pay off the student loans in my in-laws' name, but hey, why not trade in a perfectly good Rav4 for a brand new $40,000 Jeep instead of helping a couple people nearing retirement age get out of debt that isn't really theirs?
At least maybe I'll get to drive it the next time they're up from Florida.

Curious what they got
No idea, and I won't ask. I'll just get pissed and say something stupid.

About the Jeep?
That they have fucked up financial priorities?
My in-laws had $75k of student loans between my wife and her sister. $15k we knew belonged to my wife, the other $60k was consolidated and who the fuck knows who owed what. Their educations cost roughly the same. We paid off the $15k and $30k of the other loan, her sister and husband haven't even made a single payment. And then go buy a I guess $50,000 JL. I'm beyond pissed.

They deserve it because they worked hard and no longer have the "Burden" of student loans where the .edu is trying to FUCK THEM.

Yeah I'm being facetious, a major element of my game. Have you let them know you paid off your 1/2 of the loan?

Oh they know, and they're full of excuses. I think they just don't GAF.

over here as well
They vote Republican, but maybe Elizabeth Warren's student loan forgiveness plan will save them.
Ready and waiting to send an invoice to the .gov for the $75k+ in student loans we've paid off.

Pretty clearly. If my parents TOOK OUT LOANS IN THEIR NAME to send me to college, so I can walk into the Jeep dealer with a 760 FICO not a 680, and I buy a new Jeep instead of paying my parents back, all the while knowing that my sibling and her husband manned the fuck up and paid my parents back, I would either kill myself or just never come to a family event again.

That'd be the reasonable reaction. I don't know how they show up around the holidays without their tales tucked and act like everything is fine. Sometimes I think my FIL would prefer that, too. He and my wife's sister do not get along anymore, largely due to this kind of thing.

My dad lent me $1k to pay for my first semester of school. Was paid back to him before I started my second year.
Later, when I fell on hard times being laid off of jobs down here in SD and having shit tenants renting my house in Lancaster he helped me pay that mortgage for 3 months while I was out of work. As soon as the house sold he was paid in full. There wasn’t a day that went by between him making the payments for me and me paying him back that that debt didn’t weigh on my conscience.
