Still been doing burritos for my beef meal instead of just beef and rice. Brought shredded lettuce and pico de gallo in to make them a little more tasty and get that tiny veggie boost.

I tried everything else. It has been super mixed for me as well, I am going to paleo instead. sub 25 grams of carbs per day is not healthy at all. Sub 50/75 is far more sustainable.

Do you track your calories and macros closely?
Several studies have shown that low-carb vs low-fat makes no difference for weight loss as long as calories are the same and you’re in a caloric deficit.
Paleo is okay because it pushes people to eat more Whole Foods rather than processed stuff. Processed food are allowed to be up to 25% off of what they claim for calories, iirc. So you may think you’re eating 2000 calories a day, but if it’s all pre-packaged, processed foods, you could easily be eating 2500 and blowing through what you thought was a caloric deficit.

mmm I love burritos. I bought 2 lbs of flank steak on sale today, used half to make a thai beef stir fry and the other half for fajitas. Basically same ingredients (beef, peppers, onion, garlic), just different seasonings, one over rice and one in tortillas. I should be set on lunches this week!

I fucked up some shake shack last night. Two burgers, a chicken sandwich, and a thing of fries
That is those are some heavy and yummy burgers. I’m eating at this little hole in the wall Indian place in Hermosa right now... garlic naan, rice, saag paneer, chicken tikka masala for $11

I miss Hermosa. Had some fun nights out on the pier for sure. Buddy‘s place was walking distance to it and I’d go down there almost every weekend.
