A car is needed for work we have gone over this before
Car Talk 4: The Richard Hertz Rent-A-Car 500
How much is Lyft to Allentown or a day’s car rental? I bet you could do it once a week round trip and still come out cheaper than car ownershit.

It’s just round and round, suggestions are made then shot down and no decision is made. Something is wrong with anything ... too expensive, not light enough interior, too big, too wobbly, won’t fit in Street, not awd, premium etc

It doesn't matter. Anything I get will be anyway.
I can't bring myself to put up with a dealership only to off my favorite car I've ever owned for some boring refrigerator.

I'm way older than the prevailing demographic here and don't like any of ^^those things, or mountain biking, or Tennessee, or gunz, or video games, or weightlifting, career advancement, most of the "music" most of you listen to, or really wrenching on cars any more.

I understand if you can't really do it right now, but don't wait too long and live to regret never doing it.

In spite of my constant ing, I enjoy having you around, but you have to admit the seemingly endless STi vs something more practical for your life circle-jerk leaves you open for some criticism.

Ah yes. Let’s make fun of people who are depressed and struggle with indecision problems. It’s the Trump way. I’ll just stop posting my musings about cars.

look, my .02.
you like cars. you like this car. it will serve your needs . you are with money. the car is almost paid for. it's always cheaper to keep a vehicle vs get a new one.
ergo, the smart thing to do from Evey angle is to keep the sti.
another way: the decision to make is to keep this car as long as it's practical.

I’m not attempting to make light of your very real issues. I hope that some day you’re able to find the right balance. You’re not alone, and in spite of all the around here, many of us have been through difficult periods in our lives, and many of us are still struggling whether or not they want to admit it.

It’s the reason I still have the FiST in spite of wanting something new.

yes. I'd love a golf r. or a Miata. or even an s2k. or a laundry list of other cars, but I have other goals right now when it comes with what to do with my money. And the is, the GTI is a great car, it's silly fast especially for a fwd car, and serves my needs extremely well.4zilch wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2020 9:09 amBig Brain Bradley wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2020 7:47 am
