Perhaps an anti
1996 Lincoln Mark VIII 105k miles
2011 Golf TDI 79k miles
1998 Crow Vic 60k miles
2002 C5 corvette 40k miles
Those are my top 4.
Only self driven counts... and not total miles on vehicle.
Most miles driven on a given vehicle. List em out!

Got right around 100k miles on my 1986.5 Scirocco
Around 83k on my 1999 Mk4 GTI
Currently just under 71k on my 2011
My Beetle had over 100k when I sold it but I only put on about 20k of those miles myself.
Also, fwiw, got upper 90'sk on the wife's 1998 Intrigue and mid 80's on her 2009 Saturn.
Of this list, the Mk4, the Saturn, and my are still driven daily.
I'd also point out that of all those VW's, a grand total of 1 water pump needed replacing (on the 'Rocco).

For a few years with the "Rocco, I worked downtown so my commute was ~ 20 miles/week to the train station. And for the last 27 years my commute to this job is about 60 miles/week. I'd say at least 30% of the miles on the are from road trips.

Out of town on family obligations half the time since Thanksgiving and I didn't want the "break-in" to consist of hundreds of miles in 6th gear at constant rpm.max225 wrote:Omg ... you didn’t even break it in yet ? 86 has 500 miles ol:
Otherwise everywhere I drive is <10 miles round trip and most days I don't even leave the house... Plus with the stupid poverty tandem driveway her car is always first in line so we drive it everywhere - and it's got remote start to melt the ice quicker.
I don't even need a car.

I lose.
I never keep a car long enough to have any significant miles on it.
My 2006 Prius was the last one. Bought with 3-5 miles on it and got rid of it 4 years later at 136k miles. I beat the shit out of it and it was the worst car in the world to drive besides maybe a Nissan from the same era.
