:word:

I think if I was to buy one, I'd be cool with hitting up Detroit and trying to get a decent :dill: on a custom order. It would be neat to order a car once in my life anyway, get some weird :unicorn: spec.

Speaking of... did Detroit :rage: quit whilst I was gone? Haven't seen him around.
Yea I asked around. It sounds like he is busy with work, prolly glampin too, too busy for us nowadays, which is :( .

My idea spec for poverty life is Black/tan in Bikini/tan + LED headlights. Quite a good value, or if i wanted auto i'd probably go 2.slow. Then I am torn on whether to HT or not... i hate not having a rear wiper... you'll be flipping blind in the winter.
Eh, I drove the Bang Bus 90k miles without a back window, it's NBD really, specially in such a short car. I have zero wants for the 2.slow, I think it's the dumbest thing ever in :jeep:

People seem to like it... :iono: Also it fixes the torque issues of the 3.6, as it is essentially dead before 2500rpm which is :fullretard: in a utility vehicle, rev'ing a jeep above 3k is painstaking... but the smaller ligher one may be fun. The JLUR certainly wasn't.

:iono: I agree that the lack of torque on the Pentastar is a bit off in a :truk: but I didn't mind winding out the JK. I'd prefer the durability/simplicity of the natty motor.. turbos are kinda meh to me :doe: I feel like the allure of the :jeep: is in the simplicity.

Is this just the general car talk thread?

Anyone have experience making a product for a vehicle as a side business? Got an idea for my lesbo-wagon. Can probably net me $10k or so in the first few months, and then maybe a couple grand a year after with minimal work.

As cool as that car sounds, and one that I would actually consider, the vast majority of the car buying public won't be able to swallow the thought of a $30k+ Yaris. It'd probably flop hard.

40k Focus sold out
40k golf has mark up
100k doge has mark up

If you build it they will come

I think it’s cool, Toyota won’t make many units and they will go to collectors which seem to be swimming in money

Would this be something you make on your own or contract out production?

Celica GT4 seems like a neat option and they can be legally imported now.
