Yea, I'm pretty sure it blows. In the literal sense, not the judgmental one.

Interesting. The other GM cars with them that I have had (C7s) blew air at you. The 911 sucks it away and is much better of a system. If Caddy does that too, that's a definite positive.

My JGC blows, and it also works well. I actually had to turn the coolers on today on my way home from the mountains, wasn't feeling all that great. Still not feeling all that great.
The ones in the C7 were great for the first 4-5 minutes, then after 10 you couldn't tell they were on. In the 911 after an hour drive you can still notice they are working.

The Cadillac has vents on the back seats typical of German vehicles with ventilated seats and I didn't see those on other GM vehicles like Acadia Denali etc so I assumed the Cadillac was different. They also felt much more effective. So again that's just an assumption I had.CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 11:30 amInteresting. Naw son. They polished it mostly out. It’s about 85%. Good enough.

Something I really appreciate about this car, and it's super minor. The exhaust pipes are always super shiny. They never coat up in carbon. Thanks, port injection.
I appreciate being back in a smaller vehicle. If this thing was an automatic, or if it came in automatic, I'd get the unicorn dampers for it and just keep it. The automatic is the thing that I really want. Likewise, if this had a DCT available I'd consider just trading it for one.

I find this car segment to be a little bit tight for trips like the one we did yesterday. I bet you'll want something a bit bigger once kiddo arrives. , maybe wait to see what that lifestyle shift feels like?

Honestly everything in this class is. The Elantra I rented, I had 8 cases of wine and 2 roller bags, plus 2 backpacks in the trunk with plenty of room for more, and a giant back seat with tons of leg room. IDK why you'd really need anything larger. The real benefit of the "midsize" segment are larger engines if that matters.
Everyone touts the Golf platform as the ultimate in hauling ability, and yeah its great with the seats down. But with the rear seats up it's a lot tighter, and with a kid that means you've got the rear seats up almost all the time. Something slightly bigger like a CX5 or Escape or Rav is sized a lot better for rear-seat-up cargo space.

It is quite spacious in 168” that’s the key here.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 10:32 amHonestly everything in this class is. Right. Smaller vehicle overall less cargo space is expected. Strollers and kid shit take up an assload of space.max225 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 10:42 amIt is quite spacious in 168” that’s the key here.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 10:32 am
