Felt cool to use the little recovery kit that came with the for the first time.

Ah yeah, I’m sure it adds up, but when you’re still establishing that role and setting boundaries and actual functions of your job I can see how it’d be a pain in the dick.[user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 7:10 pmI get a flat $35 bonus per car delivered through the store on top of my salary.
It ain't bad. But the level of bullshit I've been dealing with on a daily basis lately has me questioning a lot of things.

Sales was busy. We flurried on and off all morning and then it died.
I put the kibosh on $20 oil changes and free rotations this year. I fucking hate catering to people that are here for that and don’t want to buy shit, then leave.
People don’t come to car dealerships for deals on Black Friday.
Instead, I put out $299 remote starts until Monday, a $99 align/rotate special and a $99 oil/rotate/wiper. Big push was our 2 year maintenance plan that covers a major, a regular, and two basic services for $249 instead of 339. I put the money in retention.
We were down 70 hours and $13k in total sales over last year. We’ve been flat this month anyway, and thanksgiving is pretty late this year. It’s been a weird month.

Just got home. Longish drive from Arizona.
Had an AWESOME night in the casino last night. I won almost 1.5x the average annual salary in the US at one casino and recovered my losses and went well into the black.
Went smart on the last $60k of the winnings and asked for a session and got paid out in a check at the end. Biggest single win was $15,000 on a $100 machine.

This is going right to property taxes that are due next month and income taxes in April. Should just about cover the taxes for my other winnings this year. Damned taxes.CaleDeRoo wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 10:03 amGosh dang that 911 exhaust and turbo upgrade moneyCorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 11:59 pm Just got home. Longish drive from Arizona.

All he needs to do is get a Cobb AccessPort tune. Feels quicker than a 991.1 Turbo for $1800.CaleDeRoo wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 10:03 amGosh dang that 911 exhaust and turbo upgrade moneyCorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2019 11:59 pm Just got home. Longish drive from Arizona.

Honestly, I don't think I want to do any perf mods to the 911. The car is fantastic as it is. I just want to hack the MMI to give me Android Auto and that's about it. I sold the JB4 I bought for it since it's a nightmare to reach one of the connectors you need to plug into.

Yeah, thought about it, but want to keep the warranty a bit longer. Plus, not really excited about pulling the car apart to pull out the ECM to mail it off to be unlocked.fledonfoot wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 10:31 amAll he needs to do is get a Cobb AccessPort tune. If you can change the oil on that car, you can pull the ecm - it takes 20 minutes to get out with hand tools.CorvetteWaxer wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 12:27 pmYeah, thought about it, but want to keep the warranty a bit longer. We tuned dozens of these cars and drove them hard. The tune is fairly conservative, and the engine is capable of holding the power.

I tried to install the JB4, but there's no way my meaty hands were getting to the harness that connects to the intake:
Between the metal bracket on the right and the fake engine sound tube on the left I scraped up my hand and wrist pretty good and could only get about 1/2 way to the connector (looks closer in the pic, feels like 8 feet away when your hand is stuck and you're begging for lube! )
Didn't think the JB4 was worth the effort of further disassembly and if I was going that far I'd go Cobb/other that allowed protuning by a local tuner.

I tuned my father in law’s 991.2 C4S and it’s ungodly. I was taking all the sales managers and senior sales reps out on joyrides, and they were all
