Maybe Purple is a good bet... I sleep hot too. We have friends locally who have one and say its .SAWCE wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2019 12:08 pmYeah, I wish I’d spent more on my couch and bed. Bed will be the next big purchase I make and I’ll on a nice mattress, probably one of the cooling ones like Purple since I sleep so hot and often wake up sweating in the middle of the night.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Wed Nov 27, 2019 12:02 pm
I 'd on a couch a few years ago and got one I wanted. It was an awesome purchase, I love the damn thing. And its big enough that the whole family can cuddle on it together (me, Lisa, dog, cat) which we do almost every night. When the time comes to replace it in a few years, I'll get another one I really like.
For something you use a lot it's worth on. Now, the needlessly expensive smoothie blender that was used daily for 2 weeks then never touched? Nah.

I happened on this guy last night....he reviews As Seen on TV type products from there and Amazon. At 14:45 his number one pick was a Bed Jet that blows cold or hot air into (what I guess) are specially made sheets....
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnhpkYKeuRE
He also reviews a pillow and a bunch of kitchen gadgets
I think I am going to buy 3 of the automatic potato peelers... one for us, one for bro and one for In-law grab bag....

Snow driving was fun. Cruises up to the base of the surrounding mountains and sled down them on boogie boards (SoCal people amirite?), dragged each other around on the boards with the and then found a huge open lot where some trucks were already playing and ripped around there for a while. Had a blast.

Sounds !
We spent the day in. I ran to the supermarket before it closed at 2pm. We didn’t have a turkey but we had some of there fresh prepped prepared meals that you pop in the oven. We had meatloaf with mashed taters and green beans, chicken breast with pesto/basil sauce, zucchini spaghetti and some tomatoes, and then some mac&cheese. Some bundt cakes from a local place here that makes them so good, and then some pumpkin pie
It was just gf, daughter and myself so between me and GF we each had a small portion of everything and it was very filing.
Not a huge or traditional thanksgiving but definitely a great one as our first as a little family.
Hope everyone enjoyed theirs

I’m spending the day on baby duty because I’m testing the gf to a spa day so she can have some me time.
