Giant car though.
Pre installed trailer hitch :notbad:

Although you could probably put a bike loose in the trunk, both wheels on.

Are current gen Cherokees dropping like a rock? I had a v6 AWD rental once and it was seriously not bad. But I do have pretty low standards since I've never owned a car newer than 2005

I could look into those again. I like the size. The transmission was horrible first few years.

If [user not found] likes it, then it's pretty good imo. Knowing he would rather drive a Prius than a base Camry.

He has a Grand Cherokee :doe: ... which has the ZF tranny instead of the 9-speed minivan unit. It is also RWD based and much more attractive. I think the Cherokees are heinous myself, although IIRC in TrailCock form they look decent. With the natty V6 they aren't slow, I've ridden in a few of them that friends own.

:dat:

Cherokee is not to be confused with the Grand Cherokee. Vastly different.

I do think the 2019 looks much better, and :notbad: in the Trailhawk trim.

But still a Dart underneath. :notsure:
I really hated that transmission but I drove a 2014 trailcock. So first model year. Supposedly the trans was reprogrammed in later model years. Likely still more than I want to spend.

I’m sure it’s fine. I helped my friend into a tigershart model and no complaints in 2 years of ownershit. It rode quietly and it was perfectly sized for a 4 person cuv. You can always get 6-13k off the sticker(depending on time of year) so I’m not sure I’d buy used. The prices are not attractive.

I am aware of that, i was simply pointing out johnny about that and I trust his judgement on a "fun" car.

My friend in SF has the 2014-15 trailhawk and he had to call the fca corporate (his words) because the trans got :nuke:

To bring some good news to this thread:

New seat mods are good. Raised front and lowered back is giving me more leg support so I'm bucking less in the city. Being a little more upright is uncomfortable on my back but I have more control over the car.

:notbad: I'm driving smoother.

Thanks for the suggestions bros.

Yep. This car is a riot. Traffic was more manageable with the new seat position.

Yep. Clutch and throttle control are both much better. Car feels more comfortable in a less comfortable seating position. That's a mind fuck.

Just got back from a drive through center city to work on Lisa's shop, and it was a complete non-event.

I maxed out the bolt wiggle room. But it would be better if I could get an extra 1/4 to 1/2 inch. Wonder how bad of an idea it is to dremel the seat bracket bolt holes a little bit. Wouldn't take too much to make the difference. Unfortunately I can't put spacers or shims in due to the attachment method.

It's closer to the seating position of the GTI now. That had a pretty good bucket position, but the front was a hair too high for my liking.
