On a positive note, I adjusted the seat mounting bracket, the stock bolts had some wiggle room, so I lowered the back and raised the front, probably got an extra 1/2" or more of thigh support. Pushed the seat backwards one more click, and the seat a click more upright. So far control seems better but it's less comfortable on my back. Will experiment more.
God fucking dammit now I have to deal with this bullshit hit and run.

I mean, it's bright fucking blue. It's not like someone couldn't see it. I really don't know if it was a suburban retard driver or an electric bike delivery I unfortunately left it in a "danger zone" near Pats and Genos, where a ton of suburban idiots and drunk eagles fans like to go to get disgusting cheesesteaks. As such there's a lot of turnover in those parking spots by people that are "scared of the city" or not used to parallel parking. But the more I look at it the less I see how a car did it.

That fucking sucks man.
But you know the risks with street parking. This is why I don't even like keeping my DD in my driveway in a decent neighborhood, off the street. We live in a world of savages and dishonest fucks that have no morals.
Hope your insurance doesn't penalize you for this, but if they're anything like here, bring some lube and a couple condoms to the meeting with the adjuster.

And I think you're right. It looks more like a dickhead bike rider than a car to me.

That's common but it's usually a rub mark or a handful of straight lines. This wiggly shit is very much like it got keyed but with how the panel is dented I doubt that was the case.MexicanYarisTK wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 4:05 pmwhen I was in NY one time. there's no way that can be dented by just being keyed, so I could've thought bike or scooters, but the handle bars are usually higher. I think a front end swing may probably be the best way on how it happened to begin with, most likely a real SUV.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 4:24 pmThat's common but it's usually a rub mark or a handful of straight lines. I have those on my yarii but with the NFG color, it's hard to tell from a distance.Johnny_P wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 4:24 pmThat's common but it's usually a rub mark or a handful of straight lines.
