The plastic plate holder things drilled to the bumper act as supplemental bumpers though. Around me, cars that have them, although looking a tad off, have FAR fewer parking scars than cars without them.
The other reason I really don't care about this shit is that the 86 front end is by far the ugliest of the FR-S, early BRZ, late BRZ, and 86 cars. Toyota dun fucked up. The 17+ BRZ looks waaaaaay better. With the big ass front plate it's a lot less noticeable :doe:

:whocares:

Continental snow tarz were ordered today, gonna get them mounted on Thursday and have the stock Prius tarz moved to my :fancy: SSR :ramz: for next June. I wimped out and got the ice tires instead of the performance winters, hopefully they are tolerable in the dry/wet conditions they'll see 95+% of the time.

Yeah. Your car's package tho, with the green and the ramz :datass: make up for the blobfish front end.

Anyone have license plate frame ideas? I am going to remove the :dillerman: ones, leaning toward plain black plastic but something fun could be :neat:

Currently sitting at Firestone waiting for snow tire installation... It's been nice knowing you guys. :doomed:

I usually go for a simple black frame.

I'd honestly go for one of those silicone ones, although the TURD off road is :notbad:. Just don't like the red.

:205: :doomed:

The stock 215s must run really narrow, these 205s look at least as wide as those. Also, there is way less road noise than stock with these - those primacies must be the worst tire made under the Michelin name. No grip, squeal like crazy, tons of road noise, and 240 treadwear... :disgust:

Bonus for the snow tires, at least initially they don't really squeal at all. They make a low grinding sound when they slide and that's it.

Tire monkeys jizzed all over the back wheels too... :wtf: is all that goop and why is it necessary on a brand new car/wheel.

It's lube to seat the beads when it's 20 degrees out and even the snow tires are hard. Mounting tarz can be a PITA when it's warm and total :rage: when it's cold.

I'll clean it up eventually. Maybe. Or :jesus: will do it.

I thought this wasn’t a requirement when the wheels and tires are ok. Also it looks like it’s 44 in Corning right meow

Eh. You can never use too much lube - and they were mounted yesterday morning.

Now that I think about it, they probably use extra on nice/new wheels more for getting the tires over the rim without scratching it than for seating the beads.
