My wife doesn't, despite me always asking her to. Her side is always a disaster. I remember once an early snow storm hit, and I didn't have the rubber mats in the Volt. I get in the car the day after she drove it, and it wreaked of mildew smell. Felt the mat and it was completely soaked. Searched for leaks, nothing. Put the rubber mat in, then the next time she drove I saw the massive puddle.

She is in most regards. But clapping snow off boots before getting into the vehicle just isn't on her radar. Might be because it's a pretty new concept to her.

I ordered the mats with my JL. They are great except one thing... The driver side will not stay locked into the drain hole in the floorboard with all the heel movement on the pedals. Not a big deal, but just a bit annoying. Push it into the floor, and 3 days later it popped out.
Very interesting. It's so close to the outboard retention point that I figured that would't be an issue. We'll see how it goes.

Wife's JL has these mats, but the :dillerman: didn't insert them through the carpet. Not sure if I'll do it or not, I don't want stuff getting inside.
Yeah, I had to cut my carpet too, the dealer just left them on top.

That’s a cool feature that I with the JK had.

Edit: I know it has the drain holes, but not integrated into the carpet and all weather mats..

In homes, yes... in cars, no. I’ve never been in a :tits: car that didn’t need an oil change, have dirty paint and a dusty interior, and at least 632 empty water bottles inside.

People often ask if my wife's car is a rental because I clean it occasionally - and it's not an SUV.

Outside of :225: land, yeah. For one, they're empty vs full of junk.

I’ve got a pen, registration, hard top removal kit, iPhone cable, sunglasses, and some sunscreen.

Pretty much. Trade the sunshade for an ice scraper and you have ours - and it's all kept hidden away so the car appears empty at a glance. People act like it's :mindblown: impossibru to keep anything remotely nice. :derp:
