If I do a wrap I will likely go a little more colorful than the Mini that's pictured

So far so good, but only about 500 miles in.... the only thing you’d give up with the mini is rear seat/trunk space, it’s better than a gti in every other way imo. R gets more
Tricky, as minis don’t come with awd.

Full disclosure I haven't driven one, but the last gen with 228hp was deemed a lot softer and heavier than the pure minis.
This chassis is surprisingly heavy, even the tiny 2 door is 2850 lbs, which is how much a much larger golf weighs, and an enormously larger civic weighs.
Countryman JCW is a whopping 3700lbs, which is bound to make it way slower, and WAY less fun to drive.

The hp numbers on the Mini site do not line up with what the articles say should be available......

I think all we know is 0-60 #s and the mini is like .1s behind. It should just be a "cooler" GoRf basically.

I think it's cooler because dat Mini swag

Had no idea they were that heavy.

I like the Clubman, especially the R55, but isn’t the Mini-ness essentially gone with a Countryman?
Always been a bit :disgust: about them.

Ordered a vent pod and boost tap this week as I’m going Fast and Furious. Turns out most boost gauges here are 52mm (2-1/16”) and my pod is for a 60mm gauge.
Autometer doesn’t even make 60mm ones.

Any recommendations?

That doesn’t look bad. My wheels have really thick spokes, they are like thickest spokes short of a monoblock. This is a nice change

I think chunky wheels suit your car's beefed up styling though. For example the more I look at these thin spokes wheels on your car the more I'm not sure about them.Image

Simply as a way of making sure the fragile N18 isn’t about to blow up.
Ideally I should get something to monitor oil pressure too.

Just got a used JB+ in the mail too for extra :burnout:

I did some research on the one Max posted and seems to be your typical eBay poop that will act up after a few months.

HKS/Apexi have 60mm gauges but the backlight color is blue compared to the car’s red/amber.

I’ll just return the vent pod and buy a 52mm one together with a quality Autometer/VDO/whatever gauge.

I loved my p3 gauges in my GTI and Golf R.

They work and are unobtrusive.

Looks like anything OBD2 can read. I may be wrong though.
