Glad you stopped being a dick. But only for that one day.Detroit wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2019 10:36 amShe said last night that it's the first vehicle she's ever picked out on her own and she loves it. She claims getting the "fancy" things like the headliner and LED lights make it "special because I didn't force her to cheap out". She claims it'll be around for a while, and I really like it too, way more than the Volt, so I really don't mind driving it.

This is equal parts and Fortunately, the company handles reg on my truck so I won't get to pick the plate. I will not mention to her the BPBPJP availability
A new off-road park is opening 40 minutes from our house. Jeep is sponsoring a preview event there this weekend and I can go for free. Mentioned it to and she went "I don't want to hurt Beebeep".
Shame I don't have my Gladiator. Would be a full send scenario.

Totally. It would do great, but whatever. I think it's still too new for her to consider much wheeling, but I think she'll get there.

I can understand that, but y'all should take it then just park it and use your big corporate to ride along or borrow a Jeep.

This occurred to me. Going to an Octoberfest today. We'll see how I'm feeling tomorrow.

Should be assembled today.
Drove the JL for the first time yesterday, it's really quite great. Steering is tight and leagues better than the JK was. We drove 45 minutes on the highway doing about 80, and wind noise was surprisingly minimal. The road noise from tires or whatever was worse than wind noise, and even then it isn't much worse than the ZR2 was.
Thoughts on that:
On 2.0T hybrids, there's active noise cancelling with premium audio. That might be doing a lot, but it's not noticeable at all. The audio system is freaking awesome.
The headliner might be helping with noise more than expected.
Overall, I really love that thing. I can't wait to get mine now.
