This is a good plan
What about some stock seats? Trade some forumbrah? Likely wouldn't cost you anything.
A thought I had. But I’d prefer aftermarket so I can properly use the 5 point harnesses.

Look near COTA.
Still 4 hours. But I’ve yet to visit Austin. So it might be a nice trip to make.

I really like the CVT in the Cmax. It’s super smooth and keeps the engine right in the meat of the power band. Come at me.

CVT's in concept are ideal for this reason. They just suck for performance. I'm sure it's fine in a vehicle like the CMAX.

I actually think the best transmission is none at all. I love the power delivery in an EV.

Agree. I like the car best when its in electric mode. Dead quiet and just whisks itself away. It's fine for "performance" though, especially considering 99% of people's idea of "performance" is freeway acceleration and passing power.

The doc fee covers their hibachi celebratory dinner. Hibachi first, post office later.

$899 is a really fuckin high doc fee. Id expect 450-500 on the high end.

I drove a model 3, which is really epic, but it is just boring in the end... toaster... that drives/parks itself etc, but still toaster.

Its $80 in cali. But I :aintcare: the total vehicle price was fine, so who cares what the "fees" are.
If the car is 20k OTD, and it's worth 23, and they "sell you" the car for $500 and doc fee is $19,500 that's fine by me.

That's how you gotta look at it. You're getting a good deal, despite the doc fee being flat out rape. The vehicle price is lower to attract customers, the doc fee chips back at that. Just focus on the OTD number.

A good toaster is underrated these days.

But yeah. I need more range and speed.
