I know. Still never been.
That was a setup to get you to say NYC = NY

Yeah. I've been impressed with my friends Imprezas. They take corners great, my friends are retard drivers and the car handles anything they chuck at it last second. They soak up the road pretty well but the Crosstreks and such are supposedly better in that regard. The power is meh on them they're fine they get up to speed and all but they're not quick at all.... the Outback turbo would solve that.

I like the big screen. Or at least don't mind it. I think its worth looking into at least, and the outback 2.4T takes 87. That's becoming a bigger and bigger concern, the price gap just keeps widening. It was about $0.80 in Maine if the station even had premium, most just had 87.
I think crosstranny is the perfect car for you. Maybe once they get a slightly better motor. On my Yosemite trip my friends wife has that thing ... and after driving in my m3 with the failed air conditioning, she stated that “I didn’t realize people drive cars without suspensions” when referring to the beema
Its too slow for me. But yeah. Throw the 2.5 in there and it would probably be fine.

It'll happen. I'm trying to lay out some groundwork for some overlanding/traveling more often.

Have :jeep: will travel?

If I could make a suggestion, I'd modify your previously posted route a bit to include Newport, RI so you could tour the :mindblown: mansions.

Mini is probably a better pick, fewer fill-ups needed, cheaper to run, still holds all your crap. :iono:

Clearly I'm :wrong:

Her car accumulates miles like a katamari ball, we don't use hers for roadtrips. Plus, my grand tour includes some of the NMW dirt roads/logging roads. Not MINI friendly.

The fuel economy in hers reigns supreme, but the :jeep: allows us to get off the beaten path if desired.
Nah not wrong. Whole trip took 2 tanks on the Cmax. I kept thinking, if it were my car we'd be stopping about 5-6 times each time a good $10 more. It just adds up when you're traveling that far.

The :turboyaris: has been pretty epic at that for us. 30+ mpg, comfortable, holds all our stuff, adequate power, handles curves ok, comfy
on 17's, etc.

I’d be triggered by the premium upcharge ....

$3 vs $3.80
45 mpg vs 19
That’s $60 vs $180 if you drove 900 miles.... $120 buys you a nice dinner for two. That’s a pretty significant delta

I mean, this car isn't the cheapest in the world to run. Just had to replace a radiator hose due to a pinhole leak. On a 2014. :notsure: about that Fraud quality. But the fuel savings are real, compared to something like my STI.

Camden. Kind of small town but large-ish for that area. Really nice place to visit.
