That is a weird looking GTI but I approve.

Dammit. My friend at MINI of Rochester just texted me they are having a drive event and have a convertible JCW or multiple S with the JCW tuning kits. I'm busy today .
Would love to drive that JCW with the roof down

So I had a real issue with the m3 today, crazy enough it was exactly the same issue I had with my TDI. During long drives the blend door would get stuck and I would get no air....
We had 4 people and a dog in the car ... it was 100F out ... and this car gets hot... because of the carboner roof... no direction of the vents would get air into the cabin. My friend almost fainted and the dog almost puked... we drove with windows down and it was dry heaving ... holy shit why was that happening...
Identical symptoms ... we stopped by a store and 20 min it was fine again, after not working for 1 hr... i am 200 miles from home.

It “fixed “ itself after I parked the car for 20min, and I’m not taking it in. It’s going to take longer than the rest of my lease. Exactly what my golf used to do. None of the hvac works in any setting ... restarting the car doesn’t. But parking it for a bit and then doing it again ... it works ...
Congrats man. Definitely a stressful process buying a car sight unseen and shipping it to yourself, but it did work out great for me in the end, after jumping through some hoops. I think yours will too, it's a super cool car.
I "test drove" my buddy's base R56 this weekend and these cars really are great - fantastic steering, excellent shifter, very nice dynamically, despite being painfully slow in this case.

For sure, the cars drive epic, does he have a 3 cyl ? The pooper s, was a bit on the slow side too, but the jcw felt decent. It’s obviously not fast, but nothing to complain about. Slow car fast is perfect in this carD Griff wrote: ↑Sun Aug 18, 2019 6:01 pmCongrats man.
