FWIW when I bought the from a in FL last year they did not collect any tax or do any registration stuff. I did that myself in KY.
Sounds like you'll need to do the same, which is fine.

TY hopefully the will confirm.[user not found] wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2019 10:18 amMINIs should be 50 state cars.max225 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 16, 2019 9:53 am
Ok, I think we’re all in agreement.
However I don’t think I trust them to handle my Cali shit for me. If I have to go back and forth on whether or not I smogged the car etc it would be essentially I can see shit getting lost etc.
I was never planning on negotiating their doc fee further as it is irrelevant per my earlier post, that’s a non negotiable fee to them. “Everyone pays it even employees” i already asked if $899 is standard for them when they first sent their quote.
That said I’ll see if I can get them down to 22.5 which seems rather unlikely from the 23.1 they quoted me in their latest OTD(non taxed) Quote.
I’m hoping I can do this today ... since weekend saleathon is about to be in full force and I’ll be out of town for 3 days.
Now the real question is, do you happen to remember if minis are 50 state cars or 49?
BMW just had a couple years where they had SULEV and ULEV 2.0T 320 and 328i's available and not all were the same engine even.

is buying a car that isn't a 3 series?
There's no way this is really gonna happen.
And still a 3 series... under the hood... a poverty 3.

Yea, but of all the ones you posted, I think this is the best of them all. Worth the extra hassle...or maybe it won't be extra hassle. On the bright side, there's a solid chance you did a car deal without stepping foot in a showroom. THAT'S winning IMO.

I just remembered. Do you know Graves from the dead zone? I think he’s in Jacksonville, or close to it. I can ask him to scope it out if you still want someone to see it in person..

I'll address all of em.
Golf R<Too boring for me also +8k for a comparable year one or +15k for the one I want.
STI<18-19mpg for no reason, wing, +10k over the mini and it's no faster or more enjoyable to drive IMO
FuckusRs<this is the car I probably wanted the most... but the ride is rough, and the woman hates it +10k over the mini
WRX<Hard to drive smooth in manuel +5k over the mini and less special IMO. Also slower and more boring to drive.
Pooper is rare... fun as hell to drive, and has a ton of features. Fucktory warranty is still in place for 6 months, so hopefully if anything is still wrong with it upon arrival I can get it taken care of.
TY for the luck doe I think I will def need it. this is a wild move for me.

I honestly think it's going to turn out great. Excellent choices and all around.
